Who reminded me of a really really irritating very thick character in the last season of Benidorm.


I really hope that she has some redeeming features added to her soon as her initial appearance didn't fill me with much hope.



Granted you can't take much from 2 minutes but first impressions and all that.

I like the idea of being from the 80's though Mar, could be a decent twist and may explain some elements of the personality seen so far (which is limited to 2mins I know)

I just really want a non-present day Earth companion for a change.

 

Well, by the time she debuts it will be present. (Unless she first appears in the 2016 Christmas special. But it wouldn't be very futuristic, and the Back to Future joke wouldn't be as apt)

 

Oh, right, I forgot that the series will be aired in 2017. In that case, yes, it's an encouraging clue.

 

I saw the clip, so far she doesn't seem like anything new. In the lead-up to the casting they said they were going to take some chances with the casting of the companion. For now she seems like Rose meets Mels.

I have no opinion on Pearl Mackie at this time. I think she'll be a decent enough of a companion.

That was some hilarious dialog. Too bad Series 10 won't air until 2017.
