Somebody has to write up a new list of "Doctor Who" actors who've been in "Star Wars". It'll be OT heavy, but there are quite a few. And we have to include Peter Cushing.

I've just heard on another forum that a missing Avengers episode (Steed & Keel era ep Tunnel of Fear) has been recovered. Though not Who, it does give you hope that we might get more missing DW episodes back.

Notes on Class

• Kids are in Form VI so not sure how they go more than one season
• Eight episodes
• Capable confirmed in episode 1
• Definitely explicitly referencing things like Buffy, Vampire Diaries, etc.
• New trailer should be up I'd guess after our panel today
• Kids are very multicultural including GLBTQ, and specifically referencing black actresses on BBCA

 

Notes on Who

• Christmas special confirmed for 2016
• Trailer out, hopefully online.
• Title: The Return of Captain Mysterio
• Deals with a superhero (theoretically), and they list 1979 Superman: The Movie as direct homage/influence.
• Bill (Pearl Mackie) not there until next series
• Matt Lucas (?) Joins full time and assures his character will be less "broad" now that a regular. Goal was to give Peter's Doctor a not quite obedient valet type.
• Bill's first episode is designed as a first-episode entry if you want.

 

So is that it then? Will we suddenly change a new leaf and start ignoring the Moffat era?

 

I think Moffat is still writing this season?

 

Yep, Series 11 is Moffat, then Series 12 will be Chiball's.

We're not going to get any more Galifrey or continuation of last season's plot points? It'll be like Season One and Season Five where the reset button happened?

 

My understanding was more from a sense of she's totally not in the Doctor's world and we'll get all of the exposition again, similar to Martha's first episode.

 

That would be better, it still carried on but had ties to the past. Season Three is still probably my favourite series so far.
