We went to see it together. And then I got both Tennant and Tate's autographs, and Chris got me a photo with Tennant. I'm posting from my phone and I don't have the link to it, so Chris, could you please post it? For the extra bit of smug boasting.
I mean, it's certainly news. Just not good, or (for me at least) relevant news. It's not you it's.... Them.
Some nice looking Doctor Who merchandise. Even though coasters are generally pretty boring, I rather like these:
According to the Guardian the anniversary episode will also have a release in cinemas. I'm not fond of the 3D filming, seems like a waste of money to me. Money that could go on more episodes for the anniversary. But I'm quite pleased about the cinema release if true.
Okay, so we all suspected this was going to be the case.... but... (spoilers to follow) Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler ICE WARRIORS ARE IN. Oh yeeaaaaaaaaaaah.
I'm really not sure what I'd do with Doctor Who postcards. If I go away I want to send a postcard depicting my location, not my favourite TV shows. I know they're old news, but the stamps that the Royal Mail are issuing at the end of March... they're different. They might be the only stamps I ever want to use again.
Great. Put it in a US theater and I'll scrap up the money to get into to see it. Michael Scott on his DW ebook. DW prop maker to make lisenced replicas. David Morrisey interview. (Walking Dead fans, possible spoilers so heads up!) Info for Feburary DW screening.
Oh good! So it won't ever be 3D in the US. We'll just get to see 2D. Which won't be shot on the Alexa, which the rest of the 7th series has been (one of the reasons it's looked more like film - fantastic camera). So it'll look not quite as good for no reason, or a gimmick reason. Hooray! I wish I could use pictures of the Doctors' faces with the Queen's face to send paper to people in my country
I don't want it to look like film. It's not a film. It's a TV show. That's one of the reasons 7.1 was poor.
