Now that is hilarious. If they're gonna make a book for each Doctor then I think I may get them. I hear Mr. Men has a bit of a cult following, but that's about it. Don't know much else on them or why they have that following.

@Kenneth Morgan I was browsing in my local book shop when I found a book that instantly reminded me of you. It was called "Doctor Who: 365 Days of Memorable Moments and Impossible Things" and essentially everyday in the year it had an entry that mentioned a Dr Who fact.

I'm interested in reading The Whoniverse when it comes out. The idea of only using conceptual art instead of photo references is an intriguing one, and I'm looking forward to seeing all the new takes on classic Doctor Who moments.

 

Yeah I just saw that. There's a ton of new Who books coming and I've just been browsing through them.
-I didn't realise The Movie is available to buy now on Blu Ray.
-The Spin off series, Class is getting three books:
-Class: What She Does Next Will Astound You
-Class: The Stone House
-Class: Joyride
All three come out on the 27th of October.

-The product pages for the Mr Men books have been added with images! They look so funny. And before someone says who likes them, well I have Mr Men tissues!.

Anyone watched the first two episodes of Class yet?

 

Unless they are repeated on another BBC channel, probably not. BBC Three is online only and my net access has been having problems since the big hack on Friday.

 

it's more Buffy than DW , it's quite adult too with some strong gory bits .

I dunno , I've only watched the one , didn't really relate to any of the characters , can't say I enjoyed it .

 

That's what happens when you put it on an online service- no one knows when it's on!

 

I've heard Class described as a show that doesn't know if it wants to be Sarah Jane Adventures or Torchwood. So I guess it's trying to be this awkward blend of both.

Ah those episodes blur into one for me,
Seems like a cheap way of ending the season with one villain and then starting it with the same one.

I didn't like that Season 8 finale (or Season 8 in general) but the first episode of Season 9 was good.
