Yeah, I have awful taste because I hate a blatantly ****y rip off show that is regarded critically as a very routine police procedural. Which exists on a network run by a man who's made his living for 20 years making the same police procedural with the same tropes and the same mildly quirky characters over and over again, and fooling undiscerning tasteless viewers into watching the same show 8 times. Yes, I think it's awful, and Les Moonves knows it's awful, and knows his 60 year old viewership will watch it anyway because they hate being challenged. What a revolutionary opinion in the world of television. I'm so outrageous. That makes sense.

I didn't say Blink was bad. I said Blink was very good but overrated. For one thing, to me ultimately the show should be about the Doctor's travels, not the experiences of people he interacts with incidentally. That makes for a really cool story, but not necessarily the best Doctor Who episode. Any episode that only partially features the Doctor can never be the very best episode, IMHO. To me, that clearly belongs to Human Nature/The Family of Blood. But evidently my reasoned, thoughtful opinion on Blink can't be considered or discussed because I don't like your hack show.
