it felt very sluggish to me , the plot kept threatening to kick in and then reversed out again , not sure why they went on a universe tour , maybe these bits are setting up things to come .

I'd love to see them bring Susan back. The actress is still alive. Bring her on for a while, she can always regenerate if the actress doesn't want to do it full time.

 

Apparently this guy named David Penchant or someone who had a role on the show is celebrating his birthday today. Pfffft, I doubt he'll be remembered for much.

The sooner we forget his portrayal on Doctor Who as a lonely cyber geek with his weird girlfriend's face in a concrete paver, the better.

A part of me wishes they'd bring back Eric's Master this year too. Yeah, I went there.

As I wrote in the "On this date in history..." thread, I want to see Eric Roberts, Derek Jacobi, John Simm and Michelle Gomez in "The Four Masters". However, when they start bickering amongst themselves, I'd hope the BBC wouldn't try and put a CGI Roger Delgado on a viewscreen to put them in their place. That would be going too far.

Looked her up and she is a couple months younger than I am. Yikes.

I guess Matt Smith was even younger, but still!

 

I'm not sure how many would actually be upset. Many of the old-school Who fans like myself who weren't keen on the gender-change have only a cursory interest in the "new" show and lack the passion to raise an eyebrow, let alone a furore, over any changes made.
