Just saw a headline on Yahoo about BBC accused of ignoring claims Chris Evans 'exposed himself to female colleague', which of course, is nothing to do with us; however, it reminds me of several people that worked on Torchwood referred to John Barrowman frequently wandering naked round the set, and I wonder if this current situation will cast an unfavourable view towards him.

Eg.

 

I think the difference with Barrowman is that a) he does it everywhere, to everyone (and is therefore non-sexual), and b) one gets the sense that it's all in good fun and the instant it became not so, or someone expressed uncomfortability, he'd stop immediately.

I know people who get con pictures with him and there is always consent asked for before anything out of the normal touching one would expect (side-by-side, arm around the shoulder, etc.) or even faking that kind of touching.

Plus, on Torchwood specifically, they all apparently did this (the stories with Eve Myles are just about as bad with the two of them apparently, even from what they've said at cons together)...

 

Well, I hope you are right.

Context is king, but you don't get the feeling that that is necessarily being considered as soon as another beloved name gets mentioned.

Also, when I have heard the other actors mention this, eg. on commentaries, or those 'extra' short clip vids, I haven't heard any of them mentioning anyone apart from John. You just need one person, like the Top Gear' whistle-blower, for this to blow up.

Not sure how I feel about suspenders and high pants, if I'm honest? I mean, Whitaker's rocking the very unusual attire as only she could, but it might take a while for the ensemble to grow on me.
