does anybody know if there are going to be more books in The New Jedi Order

with the yuuzhan vong threat eliminated and all.

 

there's a trilogy coming out next year (by Troy Denning) that's set post-NJO.

No, there will be books that come after the NJO, but not with the label.

The answer is both yes and no. There will be more New Jedi Order books, but they will only be New Jedi Order era books. The series is over and there will be no more books in the New Jedi Order series.

 

NJO wrapped last december with the release of the final hardcover, The Unifying Force. According to my dad, there's always been a rumored episodes 7-9 that focus around Luke's son, Ben, but those rumors have been floating around since the seventies. There will most definately be novels post NJO (there are already comic books), but another NJO book is impossible.

 

Yeah but thoese comics are tales arn't they? i didn't think they counted in actual continuty.

 

Maybe someone will write some books about Jedi and other characters to fill in the gap sometime. Not now but in a few years. Like Tatooine Ghost filled some of the gap between COPL and TTT.
