Super Battle Droid is Week 6 - You should still be able to find it. I'll watch for Boga & R2.
I should have some pictures of my collection up in a couple of days. It's been a crazy week. On a good note I did go to Disneyland yesterday.
Disneyland! And good SW goodies in the shop there?
Not really anything you can't find here. I bought a Star Wars pin And found 3 more Lego figure key chains. Those you can't get anywhere else. They did have the lifesize Yoda from EII but I had to controll myself. I had to make sure I have the money for my Vader statue this week
The lifesize Yoda couldn't be cheap.
One of my friends in MN just sent me the LEGO Obi-Wan keychain from the LEGO store in the Mall of America - too awesome! What other characters did they have?
I got Anakin, Chewbacca, and Obi-Wan
You would like the statue on StarWarsShop.com. It's Barriss Offee and Luminara
Yesyes, I've looked at that. Very tempting, but my wallet has been far too loose lately.
I just won this on eBay.
Thats nice! I've always liked the plates but just never picked any up.
Yes, I think the design on it is great. I got the Episode 4 Obi-Wan plate as a gift a few years ago, which is also great. As soon as I saw this new one I knew it had to sit next to the one I have.
Are there any stores that sell collectibles around you?
Not really. There is one comic store, but all the collectible stuff they sell is a bit over-priced.
I see you like Obi-Wan. Thats my dogs name but it's just Obi, he's a all white wolf. He's just a big old baby too.
Awww, that's cute!!
Yes, Obi-Wan is my favorite character - something I can't even attempt to deny.
I had an all black wolf named Vader but he ran away.
Aww, now that's sad.
I have three hamsters at the moment, none of which are named after Star Wars characters. But they're all really cute.
I just got in my new Entertainment Earth catalog and boy is there a lot of new stuff comming out.
I'll start up a post about people putting up there photos of there collections and or costumes that they have in the next few days to see how that goes.
Good plan! I don't have a whole lot visibly displayed, but I'll get pics of what I do have.
I wish I had bought a costume for this years Comic-Con, next time for sure. Do you wear one there?
Oh yes, I'm always in costume.
This year I'm planning on wearing a generic pirate costumes (ARR!!), a Harry Potter/Hogwarts costume (since the new book is being released at midnight Friday night of the con), and one other, which will either be a top secret costume or a Jedi. On Preview Night and Sunday I'll be wearing my new, handmade R2-D2 hat.
do you make your own costumes?
Yup! I started sewing several years ago just so I could make costumes. Now I'm a sewing maniac and enjoy sewing both crafts and clothes.
I ha d a Storm Trooper costume at one time but it didn't fit so I traded it for one of those Millennium Falcon display from Toys r us, the 6 ft. one
Very nice - I actually worked at a TRU when the stores had those.
