Funny thing about Disney World: When you're there, you're on the second floor, because they built a massive underground tunnel complex to allow park employees* to move around faster at what is basically "ground level".

*= Yes. I know they're technically called "Cast members", but c'mon, companies giving cutesy names for their employees makes you hurl too, not to mention I like to call things as they are, not what you want them to be.

 

Not to mention about 90% of them aren't actually on screen for anything, which is basically what a movie or theater cast is.

 

Don't breed... your kids will murder you in your sleep.

 

Anybody who works there is called a cast member. My cousin is a masseuse at the Grand Floridian Resort and she is referred to as a cast member as well. I forget the exact location, but their HR building is plainly visible from I-4 and is called "Casting". My cousin confirmed for me that it is the same building where she had her interview and everybody from the people who sweep up at night to the little Vietnamese ladies who wear the Mickey costumes go for their interviews and HR orientation.

 

When I worked at a crane rental shop, I was referred to as a "laborer", but my duties didn't go much past that of a janitor. You can call them what you like, but at the end of they day, their duties define them. Not their titles.

Yeah, the primary purpose of the bag inspection is to look for weapons. Someone did manage to sneak a gun in to Animal Kingdom two years ago. Disney is at constant odds with gun lovers who think it's their right to bring a gun into Disney World.

 

It's been a while since I've been there, but I remember staying on the resort was preferable. We stayed in one of the cheaper ones and it was still very nice.

 

I don't know how people afford children.

 

We sell every other one into slavery or to organ traders.

 

Neither do I.
