JCC Does Anyone Sick of Reaction Videos?

Is anyone else sick of over the years on social media, especially YouTube where nothing seems to appear anymore except every fanboy's annoying reaction video to something, especially when you try to actually search for what they are responding to in the first place? Movie trailers, television shows, reviews, etc. Does the whole world or the Internet really to know what all of these people are doing or responding to something every time some sort of new piece of media comes out? Really, these are not that significant. Get a ****ing life already! We don't need to know how you soil yourself every time someone knew comes out on the Internet.

 

I thought this was going to be about those two girls with the cup.

redlightning, I don't know if I am sick of them per say, but having said you have a platform that lets talk about anything you and you choose to review toys......

 

I skip the grand majority, but I really enjoyed the reactions to the TFA trailer. A few were neato.

 

I sick of them! Bleah! I vomit out mouth like constipated bear! You think Ukraine is game to you?!

 

Is this thread the equal and opposite reaction to reaction videos?

I watch only certain "reaction videos." Typically from YouTube channels I regularly follow and believe the reactions are genuine. I much prefer the more produced and thought out opinion review videos.

 

I sick all the time.

 

I'm not sick of them at all.

But then, I like reacting to reactions against reaction videos.

There is a parasitic quality to the new YouTube stars who make careers out of talking about other people's creative output. Their fame is entirely contingent upon talking about, a lot of times not even in a reviewing fashion, other people's work simply as fans. I'm not actively against it, and they obviously have an audience that finds their opinions interesting, but it's an observation that has merit.

 

You just described the entire profession of "critic".

 

Things I hate about YouTube.

1. Unboxing videos (i.e Look at me! I'm so important that company A sent me some free stuff)
2. YouTubers reacting to YouTubers, who are reacting to a video clip about other people's reactions. I hate them. With a passion.
3. PewDiePie.

 

i've never seen any of these things. wouldn't you kind of have to seek them out?

 

People being outraged at videos they choose to watch is a ridiculous idea, tom. Are you drunk?

You might choose to watch a video you don't know will outrage you. Or is that an outrageous claim to make?
