Did Vader keep his old pad on Coruscant? The one he and Padme lived in.

Maybe he has a closet full of his mutliple 'Vader' suits, armour, etc.

 

Anakin Skywalker's ghost might appear but Darth Vader appearing wouldn't make any sense unless it was a clone or something.

 

He will be mentioned. That's about all.

I don't see how they will pass that off. He is DEFINATELY dead. The suit was burned & we all saw the Force ghost of Anakin.
I don't see how Disney could pull it off. And a "clone" story would be insulting unless SYFY is going to do this movie.

 

I agree. At the most, there will be a flashback (maybe explaining the Empire to a younger Jedi).

 

Anakin Skywalker as a ghost will be in these movies. No way does Disney not cash in on having "Vader" in this trilogy. Lucas changed it to Hayden in ROTJ for a reason.

 

Personally I think it would cheapen the saga to bring vader back. I've no doubt he will feature in the spin offs in some way because he's so marketable but not the ST.....BUT anything is possible, looks like we will be getting at least 5 new movies over the next few years which still makes me laugh out loud at how impossible that sounds, so here's to the impossible

 

Did the post credits breath in episode 1 and the Vader shadow in episode 2 cheapen those films?

 

I believe that Hayden will be back as a ghost. Some may not like it but I think it could actually work and I'd like to see it.

 

Anakin Skywalker ghost in ST, probably. Not Vader. Vader is gonna be all up and over them spinoff movies.

 

I always wondered what Anakin would've worn if Luke got him off of the Death Star. The Vader Suit?? Or something less menacing??

I liked Dune. Check out the "directors cut" if you can find a copy. I put it in quotations because the whole Lynch controversy. They packed a lot of information into that one film. I thought it was well done but the critics hated it....I guess it's my Phantom Menace.

 

No. Only as a story or hologram (not force ghost) used for training purposes or if Luke is teaching a history class at the Jedi temple? Maybe if Luke is tempted by the darkside again they could do a flashback sequence to his fight with his father in ESB and ROTJ.

 

I like the idea of a "Sith Cult of Vader" where his legacy as a Dark Lord of the Sith is worshipped. That could guarantee at least his visage would appear in episode VII. Bringing back Anakin as Vader totally undermines the self sacrifice made by him in Jedi.

I've seen almost every version of Dune, some of the fanedits are about 5 hours long.

He wasn't 'alive' yet in episodes 1 and 2, yet he still turned up in them.

The reason Lucas changed it to Hayden in ROTJ was to make the OT better match with the PT. He didn't know the ST would ever get made when he did that.

Anakin was alive in them, though, and the hints you're referring to are foreshadowing.

 

The only way I could see any kind of a suited up Vader is if the new Villain builds a high tech assassin droid, out of respect for Vader and having worshipped him he designs the droid to look just like Vader.

That or a new Sith wears Vader's suit for some reason, but I don't see either of them happening.
