Yeah, I know that girls get their hair braided, but are there any boys out there who are growing a section of hair for a braid? Just thought I'd throw this out. I know a family and their three boys are making their Mom save a small section of hair behind their ear when she cuts it. Quite funny actually! lol

I've had a 'padawan braid' going from the center of my forehead to behind my ear for the past 3 months when I decided it was better than giving myself the actual scar I felt like...this way its removable, except it's there until I feel the scar has healed.
I don't actually particularily like it (Although it *is* unique ;) ), its almost more of a cross to carry. Every day when I put it in, I have to ask myself "Is today the day I can take it out?" but the answer so far's still the same.

Everyone is entitled to do something unique.

JW interesting idea, though I can't really see myself doing that.

I am a girl and I wear one, but it's not the same length as the rest of my hair. I had my hair cut about half year ago, and before going to the hairdresser's I braided a lock of hair (behind my ear of course) and asked them not to cut it, and now I have a braid twice the length of my hair.

I'm a girl, but my hair is almost always in a ponytail, except for one little bit behind my ear :p I wear a braid (sometimes) and I'm proud of it

oobidonkanoobi: Everyone is in titled of doing something unique.

Adri: cool you just gave me an idea. I usually wear my hair in a pony tail. Keeping a small strand out is not a bad idea.

Benji: if you're worrieda bout if your friends would like it then alraedy you've made up your mind not to do it. If your friends don't like it, and that would bother you, then don't do it. You won't be able to change their minds about it.

I used to have one. I would wear my hair in a ponytail and leave part out. I did it for awhile but I haven't done it since I cut my hair. Maybe I should start again. :)

I don't wear one, but I've been meaning to try it out for some time now :D. Probably won't end up doing that, though.

I wear one sometimes when I put my hair half up or in a high ponytail so you can actually see it.

I hope nobody laughs...but I am a boy and I do wear the hairstyle of a Padawan Learner. But despite my devotion to Star Wars (what a surprise), nobody laughs at me where I live. Of course, I only have the braid and that really short ponytail thing out when I'm at home or at some kinda party - the rest of the time I wear a baseball cap to cover the tail thing and shove the Padawan braid up into my cap.
