Hello everybody, no one scared me away... I am just trying to learn how to do this... I have been on and off the boards several times this morning and yes, I did speak with the jedi council to confirm my identity status... I will be dropping in from time to time and later this afternoon and evening and probably tomorrow as well.... good question as to how Obi-Wan learned to speak wookiee...and yes, it was a bear's voice, but I did have to make sounds on the set to get the other actor's responses. Please be patient and allow me my learning time as I'm only a wookiee..you know....and the keys on the computer are very, very small.....thanks for a great time, Star Wars fans are the best....

 

did we ever get confirmation that it really was Mr. Mayhew?

It appears that Mr Mayhew will fit in well here

I have read that he is a "Star Wars Purist" who only accepts what Lucas has written as "real SW" - & everything else is somebody else's take. That is very in accordance with most of us here

And also, I might add, does away with that nasty business written about Chewie by the man named Bear! :-D

 

It's still me and I'm still here and I just read a reply from Viktor whom I remember meeting and talking with in New York. You have a cat who has a condo, if you are the one I'm thinking of...well, this is just too cool....isn't technology great!!!

 

When I want a companion with a life debt, I'd rather choose Chewie, instead of that Jar Jar character

Can Chewie be in Ep3? Of course. Weren't there wookies in the senate whooping it up during the debate with Amidala and what's his face in TPM. Who's to say that a young Chewie does not appear in Ep2 as an easter egg or cameo. Have faith; GL always has a surprise or two for us.
