TOR Does TOR and Knights of The Old Republic work on Win 8?

I was going to buy TOR and Knights of The Old Republic today, but when I asked the seller if they work on Win 8, he answered he don't think so. And I didn't buy them. But I wanted to be sure, so I ask you guys too.

Is there any of you that have Win 8 and that play one of these two games or both of them?

 

Tor should with out a problem but i'm not sure if Knights will work. It should

 

Okey. And one more thing, if I buy the game at a store, do I need to an account from the SW:TOR? Or can I just install the game and start playing?

 

Yes you will still need to create an account which you will then use to log into the game and be able to play. By buying the game from the store all you're doing is saving yourself the bother of having to download the entire game from online (though be aware that there will undoubtedly be patches and updates that will still need to be downloaded before you can play).

Does anyone of you here have any idea where the newbies are getting a problem with getting an account in TOR.com?

 

I never had a problem getting an account and i'm a noob. Just sign up and pay that's all i had to do.

 

I have try it several times, but I get the error message everytime.

 

I believe that SWTOR accounts are also EA Origin accounts, so you could attempt to create an Origin account directly and then try logging into SWTOR.com and the game with that username/password combination.

 

It's working perfectly! Playing on a German server and I'm enjoying it very much.
