Doesn't this prove people liked PM more than FOTR?

Titanic was a date movie, therefor all 13 year old screaming girls went time after time to the movie to see DiCaprio.

    So much for generalizations.

I wasn't generalizing. I was discussing statistical demographics. A handful of die-hard Star Wars fan-boys seeing the film 8 times certainly will not make even a blip on the chart. ;) :p

I don't know, I liked FOTR as well but think WJH makes a decent point...
people can't make excuses fast enough for a non SW movie (HP, LOTR).
When it is a SW movie though, the rules get reversed...
People went to see TPM to see how bad it was, but they went to LOTR to see how good it was.
That kind of thing bothers me too.

I've seen fans here do the exact oposite Kiki

if it is SW it's automaticly a good film, any film that can contend with SW is automaticly bad.

I guess we've got different filters on, Admiral, 'cause I see (or think I see) more SW bashing here than elswhere!
    Specifically I mean TPM though.

If you think the TPM bashing is bad here, check out AICN's talkbacks.

    I can't stomach AICN's boards...
the lowliest of the lowliest basement dwelling fanboys live there.

This place is the School of Athens in comparison.

AICN, You will never find a more wretched hive of geekdom & villany.
