Ok Dolby surround has a mono back track so would I be right in thinking that it is free from the problems on the 5.1 Dolby digital mix?

TLJ Edit: Why did you create a thread just to repeat the same question you already asked in the Audio thread?

Did you notice the problems on the 5.1 mix?

No but others did 5.1 has stereo rear channels and the music is meant to be on the wrong side in the rear channels 2.0 has mono rear channels so it should not suffer the same problem?
Go easy on me I am not a sound expert.

And if others were to jump off a cliff?

Trust me, you don't need to know where the Oboe player was sitting in the orchestra.

If you were to have listened to the 5.1 mix, and you noticed something was terribly wrong, then yeah try the Dolby 2.0 mix.

But short of that, don't let other's supersensitive nitpicking bring down your experience.

I don't mean to come down on you or anything.

I'm just trying to help. :)

Thanks however I am happy with the 5.1 sound the idea of the 2.0 track was for others to try the nit pickers.
These dvds are better then I ever expected or wished for the picture clean up on the empire strikes back is jaw dropping.

Ahh I see now. Again, I didn't mean to come down on you or anything.

This could help those supersensitive nitpickers. :)
