OOC: Just to be clear, this was worked out beforehand with Radiance.

    ~IC: Darth Aganoist - Arden's Holding Bay~

Aganoist smiled evilly as Arden began his gruesomely cruel ritual of feeding on the attractive Twi-lek before him. Death and pain had always served as the perfect form of amusement for a person such as himself. Screams of agony erupted throughout the ship, at what seemed like an ear-piercing volume.

Without warning, a silhouetted figure suddenly appeared in a darkened corner. A sharp dagger was thrown from the shadows, spinning in the air before striking the Twi-lek in the side of the head and ending her wretched existence for good. Before his figure could be clearly made out, he had passed back through the wall behind him, obviously using some variant of the phase shift ability.

The Sith Marauder erupted in uncontrollable laughter at the expression on the face of the Anzat before him. "What are you waiting for?" He howled, "Go find whoever it was just stole your meal, and destroy him without mercy!" He barely managed to stammer, now literally rolling on the floor in laughter.

    IC: Wolf Raiden

Wolf walked calmly out into the foliage just outside the hangar, hands in his pockets. His shades were pointed towards the sky once more, sunlight gleaming off of the lenses.

He walked with the urgency of a lethargic man with nowhere to be. Trouble was, he DID have somewhere to be.

So he started moving in the direction of where he felt everyone gathering for the class to come.

    Time to train some more...

IC: Arden Snarkfumbleskull/ Lost Soul/ Hangar/ Sith Academy

Suddenly the soup was gone, stolen away by some being. The resulting jar in Arden's mind was enough to make him completely lose focus for several moments. When finally able to regain control over his mind laughter echoed throughout the smallish chamber. Agonist evidently found the situation hilarious, and likely whatever expression Arden had was adding to his amusement. [i}Damn thug! How dare he![/i]

It took several more seconds for the fact that the knife was sticking at a completely contradictory angle from Agonist to sink in. Therefore it couldn't have really been that particular Sith. This meant Angel had some explaining to do, as no one else was authorised to venture onto the ship. Finally what Agonist said sunk in, as it took a bit of sorting through the laughter.

Not saying a word, Snarkfumbleskull stared at the Sith Master. It wouldn't be... particularly life preserving to ask Agonist to leave, but him staying aboard Lost Soul was less pleasant of a thought. Having any other Sith aboard was not something that Arden found particularly pleasant. "Master, if you would mind acompanying me out of the ship..." He didn't actually wait for a reply. Agonist would either insult him and stay regardless, or come. There was little the Anzat could do to influence that situation at all.

Drawing upon the Force he walked out of the ship, and immediately felt one of the other Acolytes lounging around the hangar area. At the moment that wasn't a particularly smart place to be, as Arden simply wanted to lash out at the nearest individual who couldn't kill im offhandedly. The being that was standing there had some sore of eye covering, as though he was extremely sensitive to light.

Walking straight over Arden used his control over the elements (meager though they were) to make the ground shake slightly right at the other's feet. The sudden shaking should make his balance a little off, which would make the Anzats sudden shoulder charge much more effective.

    Liam Dextrim
-~- Sith Arena, upper spectator rows
Liam watched from high above at the going-ons below. His breathing eminated regularly, deeply, his chin rising as he took note of the abilities displayed within the ring. The Rancor was abnormally huge, and yet, seemingly being man-handled for the most part. Nemisis' technique was impecable for an Apprentice, granted, a higher rank then his own, but regardless. His guile and long-distance strategy used to distract may have possibly been confused with cowardice to the untrained eye, but he was indeed skilled. However, it was Kal with the guts in the pack. If he'd cared enough, the Kiffar may have thought of applauding them so far. He didn't.

At the command - if you will - of Darth Haretisch, Liam stepped off the column he was resting his shoulder against, pulled the hood further over his head and squinted his eyes as he made his way quickly but cautiously through the corridors and into the Main Room that the Dark Lord was waiting within. Atlast, he felt, he was beginning to take his first legitimate steps towards the 'Fallen' Force. Atlast, his silent, vindictive nature would potentially be satisfied. Atlast, he hummed to himself, his stance as a Lord of the Sith may one day come to fruition.

    IC: Wolf Raiden
    Leaving hangar area

Wolf Raiden had been strolling peacefully away from the hangar when the ground beneath him began shaking. His balance was indeed lost for a moment. His face shot down to look at the ground in the Force. It was being manipulated. Wolfs enhanced reflexes and senses kicked in. His ear twitched as he heard heavy footsteps rushing from behind him with a good amount of weight behind them. All of this happened in a split second.

Wolfs body simply reacted in the only way it knew how. Being off balance he couldn't leap out of the way in time. He was already loose limbed and had a large person rushing him from his vulnerable spot.

Control an attackers brute force through fluid, liquid motion.

Wolf let his body fall towards the ground. At the same time his back leg swung out from underneath him and came around in an arc. If the attacker wasn't fast minded and had quick reflexes... he would nail Wolfs outstretched, anchored leg and then at the same time be struck in the back of the knees by his swinging foot, effectivly dropping him to his face with the momentum he carried himself with.

OOC: Oops. And now Leaf is gone, correct?

    IC: Kal Hallyn
    ~Sith Battleground~

Kal felt the departure of the powerful presence that had been watching over them. That didn't bother her in the least; she knew that the masters had other ways to find out what happened. That also left the apprentices with no way out if something went wrong, not that they would have even if they were watching. This exercise was a useful way to weed out the weak ones. Perhaps the acolytes ought this. It would save her the trouble of having to kill them in the future.

Nemisis stopped his attack of droid parts. That was probably a good idea, considering how the rancor was flailing around. If she wasn't careful, it would knock her off. Perhaps she ought to deal with it before that happened.

But before she had time to grab her lightsaber, a stream of force lightning came from the other apprentice, further enraging the beast. Then, to her untrained eye, he disappeared, leaving her to deal with the creature on her own for now. Now it was thrashing around worse than ever. They had to kill it quickly, before it figured out how to get her off. Or eat her, whichever came first. And neither was an option.

During a momentary brak in the rancor's movement, Kal managed to grab her lightsaber again and turn it on. Now that she had a particularly good weapon, it was time to do some damage. But where? A clawed hand came particularly close to her precarious position, and she decided that it would be best to get rid of the creature's weapons first. As the hand came close again, she reached up and cut off the claws - and part of the hand - of the rancor. It roared and flailed around with what remained of it's arms, and Kal continued to slash off anything that came too close while allowing a small smile to appear on her face. It was delightful to be in control of a being's pain.

    ~IC: Darth Aganoist - Holding Bay~

"Master, if you would mind accompanying me out of the ship..." The Anzat tried his best to ask in a way that wouldn't get him killed.

Scowling, Aganoist rolled his eyes and followed Arden out of the ship, satisfied that his interaction with the Acolyte was at it's end for the time being.

Scratching the back of his head for a moment, he wandered off into the dangers of the wilderness, intending to blow off some steam in the jungle.

    ~IC: Giant Rancor - Dueling arena~

The rancor continued to flail wildly after having been struck by the Sith apprentice's force lightning, as it's rage built further. It might have simply gone mad with fury had it not been met with a sobering pain when the fingers of it's right "hand" were suddenly severed by a well-placed saber-strike from the apprentice on it's back.

When another swipe left a charred black mark on it's torso, it released one final thrash, this time hurling Kal several meters away into the sandy ground, most likely shaking her up severely, but not resulting in any serious injuries.

Then, exhausted, starved, and nearly blind, it collapsed, barely breathing. A weak moan rumbled from it's throat as it had finally lost the will to live, and waited to be finished by it's would-be meal.

    ~Battlegrounds, Sith Temple - Lehon~

Nemisis was surprised at how easily Kal had been able to severe the claw of the rancor. Perhaps she was more powerful than he had originally thought. That, in fact, was not good. He would have more of a problem dealing with her when the time came, if it ever came to something so brutal.

Suddenly, the rancor gave a last jerk, causing Kal to go flying through the air. Nemisis allowed a brief smile of satisfaction cross his face. The thought of using a bit of telekinesis to accelerate her fall a bit to make her fall hurt even more when she hit the ground, but he decided against it. The primary objective was to kill the rancor, not to injure a fellow apprentice, no matter how badly he wished to do so.

The rancor fell to the ground, giving one last moan. Nemisis could still feel life emanating from the giant monstrosity, and knew what had to be done. He stayed hidden in the darkness with the aide of the Dark Side while he approached the female beast. He slowly raised his lightsaber hand in the air as he approached, unlit. Briefly, he sympathized for the creature. All it wanted was some food to feed its stomach. Perhaps he could lure Kal over here to quench his hunger and then kill it. That would not work, however. He had to end its life here and now. He lunged on top of the beasts head igniting his saber while in the air, and plunged the deep red blade into the beasts right eye. The blade was long enough to reach its small brain, so he knew it would put the finishing touch on the beast.

After he felt the last breath escape the lungs of the rancor, he would leave the room, and report to his master who had summoned all those who could hear to the main hall. Nemisis had ignored the call at first seeing as he had pressing matters at hand. Now that the deed was nearly done, he would not keep his master waiting. But first, he would make sure the beast would not breath again. He was wary, of course, that the beast could spring back to life in a last effort to swallow him whole, so he made preparations for that, and would be ready to abandon the task if he needed to save his own life.

    IC: Jeric Biner

    Mos Eisley, Tatooine

Anchorhead was a bust for Jeric Biner. He couldn?t pick up enough personnel. To help him out. This wasn?t much of a surprise, The spaceport there was limited with more moisture farmers than outlanders looking for work. Locals as they like to call it were too busy hanging out in the cantinas than having the sense to find a better paying job. Therefore, Jeric packed up his belongings and headed for his ship. Scratching his head with dismay as he thought about Anchorhead being a waste of time. He didn?t have much time before the run was about to start.

He questioned if Mos Eisley would be any better. Knowing the answer already, he shook his head and lifted off for the seedy spaceport known for its ability to draw some of the most dangerous criminals in the galaxy. This is the last stop for him. If he doesn?t find the right people then he was going to have to do everything himself. He normally wouldn?t have minded, but he had too many jobs lined up around the same time. It made it impossible to be able to work all the jobs all at the same time. Hopefully his reputation and power in the smuggling business allows him to have a bit of leeway for time constraints.

Finally landing in Mos Eisley, Jeric looked around the desert planet. It was the same as always, rough and dry. It was also busy as ever. This place was going to be tough to find someone last minute, but Mos Eisley had always supplied some interest in the past. It was usually low-level criminals wanting a taste of big time credits. Jeric wasn?t about to oblige. He was a big man and could hold his own in any fight. He was also highly intelligent, which gave him an advantage of seeding out the con artists who try and deceive him.

Never the less he had a job to do and nothing was going to stop him. He went in to one bar that was crowded with customers. No doubt, the low-level criminals he was thinking about earlier. His name somehow got around the cantina and all of a sudden, a line started to form for jobs.

This didn?t mean that he would hire them all. He would have to do some type background check, the last thing he wants is a GA Agent pretending to be a down and out pilot looking for work. No Biner was too smart for that and had taken measures to not come in to that type of trouble. He had friends in high places, which gave him the VIP access to certain technology that allows him to be over looked by the Alliance. It also helps to track down undesirables backgrounds. It was all in a days work. One by one men from all walks of life were in his face, trying to impress.

Hours later Biner was able to find one person, but needed at least one more before calling it quits. One of the last people in line was a species that Biner was not familiar with. He paid no mind, due to the fact he thought it was nothing to be alarmed with. There were so many different species of people in the galaxy for a person to know them all. He stood in front of the 5?9 man with glaring red eyes that made Jeric suspicious for a moment. He didn?t look like the average low life. Jeric?s eyes started to glance down toward the black and red cloak that the man was wearing. The red markings looked like stain blood. This made Jeric a bit uncomfortable. He was leaning on rejecting the guy right away, but he still had to go with the process of asking him questions and doing the background check.

?So have a name or are you just going to stand there all day?

He asked Darth Sabith while still looking him up and down trying, to get a read on who this guy really was.

    Name: Alec Kayl
    Order/Division: Sith/Shadow Assassin
    Rank/Level: Acolyte
    Age: 21
    Gender: Male
    Species: Human
    Home world: Telos IV
    Appearance:
    Height: 5?9
    Weight: 189lbs.
    Build: Athletic, muscular build
Hair: Red, shoulder length hair kept in a low ponytail.
    Eyes: Emerald green
    Skin: Pale skin
Markings: The palm and fingers of Alec?s left hand carry the scars of an intense burn that he had purposely suffered, as well as another scar that seems to slash down his right shoulder blade where there used to be a tattoo, with remnants of the black ink standing out within the scar tissue. Two more scars, these from blaster bolts, can be found with one on his left thigh and another just above the elbow of his right arm.
Clothing: Alec hadn?t done anything fancy for his attire when he joined the Sith Order. Unless an occasion calls for a change in dress, Alec usually keeps with his clothing of a black cloak over a same-colored, long-sleeve tunic, brown belt, black pants, and one leather glove that hides his scarred left hand. What may be a tad unusual are the boots that Alec wears, the soles just a tad large but only so that Alec had been able to hollow them out and hide within them parts that can be used to create a small but effective ion bomb.

Weapons & Equipment: Other than his lightsaber, and the ion bomb that he can create with the parts in his boots, Alec carries an unusual bit of weaponry. Along his belt are four small, arced pieces of metal which act like boomerangs that have small teeth all along the edges that are sharp enough to easily cut through flesh, bone, and even metal.

    Personal Ship: N/A

    Lightsabre Description:
Hilt: Alec chose an unorthodox design for his single-bladed lightsaber, that being that the hilt had been shaped to resemble that of a piece of yorik coral that the Yuuzhan Vong had possessed, though there are smooth sections that would be the handgrips and parts such as the activation stud of the lightsaber that stand out from the design.
    Blade Color: Red
Lightsabre Fighting Form: Form VI: Niman, though he incorporates techniques from hand-to-hand combat styles like Teräs Käsi.

Bio/History: Alec was born on Telos IV, a planet that had plenty rough times in its history, from the bombardment made by Darth Malak to the devastating assault that was instigated by the Galactic Empire during the Kwymar Suppressions. And it had never really recovered from those rough times; being a miserable planet that Alec?s parents had been planning on leaving as soon as they could. That plan had been cut short when they met their untimely deaths in a speeder crash that left Alec, six years old then, the only survivor. After the accident, it had been decided that Alec would live with his father?s brother, a man that seemed to be as miserable and cruel as the very planet.

Whatever memories that Alec had of his parents were erased when he was thrust into working in the bar owned by his uncle, who was always in debt and not exactly liking the idea of having to take care of another individual. This led to an abusive lifestyle with Alec usually having a bruise or two to deal with as he tried to sleep when day one ended and collecting another when day two came around. At the end of his first year at living with his uncle, he had even been forced to have a tattoo on his right shoulder blade; a permanent mark to show that Alec was just a near-useless piece of property that had been unwilling inherited instead of a nephew to an uncle.

Despite the abusive lifestyle that continued on and on for years to come, and one that Alec knew that he didn?t deserve, the child had nowhere else to go and was forced to adapt to this lifestyle, becoming just a silent and obedient servant to his uncle that did what he was told unless he wanted any painful discipline. That lasted until Alec reached sixteen, when his life took yet another turn.

The move could have taken him by surprise. Possibly should have, but when one enters a certain place you become a pure hunter. One who can't truly be surprised, and anger was one of the catalysts that could cause that. Arden had found that out many years ago. So when the being in front of him went limp and started swinging it's leg around in a sweep, the carging Anzat turned it's headlong rush into a leap that would carry him over the oncoming leg, and onto the being that was even then leaning backwards already. The added momentum (not to mention the extra weight) should turn a controled fall into something decidedly more painful. To add to this, Arden swung his right arm at the other, fingers shaped as claws, to rake across the others face. Pain was the aim of this game.

Arden anticipated Wolf's feint and compensated for it.

So he isn't a full brute after all, he sometimes uses his brain... very well. It is a shame that he didn't compensate for my melee skills..

Wolf couldn't move in time to get out of the way so he tucked his knees into his chest as his body moved around to have Arden to his full front.

And then Arden was ontop of him. Hand outstretched to rake across his face. Wolfs left hand flashed out and slapped a vice grip on his wrist before it hit his face.

    They were on the ground.

The Miraluka grabbed Ardens other wrist just in case he tried to do something with that as well. In the same instant his legs began to extend.

Wolf rocked back on the arc of his body.

He firmly planted both feet into Ardens stomach and heaved. Using his body as a fulcrom to launch his new opponent up and away from his body.

    He released his grip.

Arden was up off of him. How he landed was up to his control of his own body. As soon as Arden was clear Wolf sprung his body together again and performed a nip up back up onto his feet.

The instant his toes touched down, two long daggers were in his hands. He swung his leg around on the dirt, creating a small cloud in front of him. The daggers were flipped into a reversed grip, one behind his body, the other held out horizontally in front of him towards Arden.

Wolf took a few shallow breaths before his his breathing returned to normal. Then he stood there waiting.

"Please excuse me... But can I help you?"

Jake was one of the newest apprentices here at the Sith Temple, and he relished the quite surroundings, unless you do not count the yells and screams of the foolish and the dieing, he sure did not. He actually arrived two days earlier and was now headed towards the Main Hall. The thing they call the force, is strong here, and he was loving that too. He had passed some strange things here, but that too, he paid no mind. What he keeped on his mind, was not being late for the meeting. His monk's robes swished behind him, and he kepted the cowl pulled over his eyes. He did not want anyone to notice him to stop him, and delay his arrival to the Main Hall.

Only thing that actually could be seen was his icy blue eyes, and they saw everything. His life training in bars and other strange places, trained him to watch everything, and forget nothing. He knew how many different species that came and went. Jake's feet were quite as he continued to walk down the hallway to his destination.

As he approached the doors, he reached out with his very thin hand, and pulled open the door and entered.

The darkness had enveloped the young Kiffar completely exciting Rhi in the intensity that he was develing into the darkside. It's currents swarmed his senses filling him with a feeling of power so strong that he hungered for more of it like some a spice addict. He was seated upon the mattress of his bunk in a semi relaxed meditative pose, and yet Rhi found that what he was discovering within the darkside was anything but relaxing. It gave him a sense of invincibility that he drew wary of even though he was wise enough not to take what the darkness promised at face value. His life so far had taught him that lesson very well, and Rhi was going to make sure that his dealings with the darkside of the Force would not render him dead after it was done with him. They both stood to gain much Rhi noted even though his gain would be a substantial one. The sith were known as a passionate group who used emotion to fuel their connection while the jedi submitted themselves to find their's. Both had their advantages if one looked at it unbiasly, and at the moment Rhi realized the potential the darkside offered if he was temperament and in control of himself.

"There's going to be much to learn before I trust the darkside explicitly", the Kiffar acolyte noted to himself as he drew his senses out to probe the area around him.

The feelings of aggression slammed against him from the very moment he started his probe, yet Rhi overcame the beast like emotions as he sought for the more complex ones. The sith were expert camoflauge practicioner within all aspects of their life, and at the moment Rhi's chief ambition was how to conceal his thoughts and presences within the Force against any form of probing. He had read that it was possible for a sith to mask their sensitive in the Force to nothing more then a void, and with abilities such as those in the darkside would be reason enough for him to remain at the Sith Academy until he had learned all he needed.

"Until the day I break free of my bonds.........until that day", Rhi mused promisingly to himself as he sunk further into his brooding style of meditating within the darkside images of his fury being carried out by the knowledge he would soon learn.

    "Take this."

Idoneus grabbed the datapad and took a look at it. It seemed to be an ordinary building, but he would have to take a deeper look when he was on his way. When he noticed that Mystique had finished talking he nodded. "Very well, Lady Mystique. Is the shuttle ready to depart? I just need to grab my street clothes and I shall be ready to go."

Even though he made no outward signs of his distast with the mission, he was dismayed by the fact that there was no real test of his fighting abilities. Sulking in shadows is what Assaians do. We Black Plagues are ment for the destruction of armies, not two merchents. I could eliminate everyone in that entire facility with ease. But untill I gain enough power to match and beat the masters, I must follow orders.

OOC: GM Post: Update time. Classes are officially about to start.

    ~IC: Darth Haretisch - Main Hall~

The corners of the old Sith's mouth curled up into a wicked smile, as the acolytes slowly filed in one by one.

As was usual in a gathering of Acolytes, chatter began to break out, a phenomenon which was fairly common and certainly not a bad thing. However, now was not the time. The noise seemed to cut to a deafening silence in a fraction of a second when Haretisch rose his left hand and snapped his fingers, adding with it a subtle wave of sickening darkside energy, catching the attention of the room and intending to set them on edge with a sudden atmosphere of sickly unease.

His eyes burned with the intensity of Tatooine's binary suns, as he looked over the group of acolytes, the eyes of which should have been focused solely on him. After a few more moments of silence, he spoke, as clearly as he was able.

"There is a distinct reason I have brought the lot of you here. You represent the best the galaxy has to offer in terms of force sensitivity. Each one of you likely has an impressive background, and I know for a fact that you can all handle yourself in a fight.

But of course, as is always the case with the ambitious, this isn't enough. You thirst for more. More power, more knowledge, more influence, it's all the same. Whatever your particular goal happens to be, it is the same when all is said and done; to advance beyond your fellow man, and leave your peers in the dust."
He removed his hood, revealing his weathered face. He eyed the group for a moment, allowing the dark energy and hatred inside of his tainted heart to permeate the consciousness of each of them.

"Wait no longer for your opportunity. This is the day when your path to your ultimate destiny begins." He spoke again, "Whether your destiny is absolute power, or absolute shame, is up to you, and you alone. The very essence of power is to make your own destiny, and that is undoubtedly the very reason you have chosen to come here, rather than live out a pathetic existence among the ordinary."

Finally, he ended his speech with simple instructions. "Behind me, you see the opening of two corridors. One to my left, and one to my right. Each leads to several rooms used for training. Those who are interested in beginning a course in lightsabre and unarmed combat should take the hall to my right, and enter the room at the end of the hallway. There, Darth Cursar will begin your training program. Those who wish to begin a course in force technique, take the hall to my left. The door at the end of the hall will contain what you seek. Last but not least, those who wish to engage in a slightly more in-depth class concerning force philosophy should remain here with me."

IC: Arden Snarkfumbleskull/ Leaving Hangar/ Sith Academy

The sudden grabbing of his wrists was a vague surprise, the flip thereafter wasn't. Riding with the wave of emotion and curling his body so that the flip would land him on his feet rather than back, Arden turned to look at the Miraluka that stood unflappably before him. He had no proof, but somehow he just knew this was the being responsible for the untimely death of his twi'leki snack. Proving it would be a completely different matter. His anger had actually started to come under control now, as being flipped tends to be a shock to one's system.

The slight cloud of dust did little to obscure his opponent, and he could see the knives that were now held in reverse grip by the other. So he want's to take it to that kind of fight does he? In truth Arden was unsure who that would favor. Time would tell, likely, but at the moment... well, classes were due to start and being late for those was a quick road to pain. Swallowing his pride, which was something many of the others thought he was completely incapabale of doing, he replied to the others comment. He spoke in a soft low voice, "You killed something of mine. I can't prove it." Sighing softly, "However we don't have the time to finish this right now. Likely we can in class however." Arden actually went so far as to draw his saber, but didn't ignite it. "Consider this an official challenge to be continued later." Later, when Arden would actually have his full faculties about him... Later when they'd have avoided being punished for not attending class.
