    IC: Kal Hallyn
    Sith Duelling arena

The rancor threw Kal into the air, thankfully not towards any remnants of Nemisis's droids. he switched off her lightsaber so that she didn't accidently kill herself, and then twisted, trying to move so that the landing wouldn't be too rough. Upon hitting the fround, she rolled and was immediately back on her feet. THere would be some bruises tomorrow, but that was tomorrow. For now, she still had to kil the rancor.

Or perhaps not. It seemed Nemisis had beaten her to the actual killing, but Kal felt that she had done enough. Of course, she could torture the creature some more, but - while it would give her some pleasure - that was not part of the exercise. And they had to deal with getting to Master Haretisch. He had called everyone earlier, and while she had ignored at at the time, now she knew that she had to go to him, once they were let out of the duelling grounds. If they were let out.

Lightsaber still in hand, Kal approached the nearly-dead rancor and waited for Nemisis to deliver the killing stroke. She did not need to jump in there and take the 'glory' of having actually killed it; her Master would know of the work she had done here.

But for now she waited, ready, just in case the rancor put up one last effort to kill them.

He listened to one of the many Lords, but he was actually needing both, though power was what he was actually after, and saber learning will come later. He stood, and pulled his hood back up, and started towards the left side. His feet not making a sound, and his eyes watched out for protental problems. He might be able to take someone, but he would rather hold his strength for an actaul battle, instead of a little scrimish. Twisting and turning he made his way into the left door, and went to the door and entered.

"You killed something of mine. I can't prove it."

Wolf simply cocked his head to the side slightly, as if he was having trouble hearing.

"However we don't have the time to finish this right now. Likely we can in class however."

Again this seemed to confuse Wolf.

"Consider this an official challenge to be continued later."

Wolf spun his daggers and returned them to their places, hidden on his person. He saw the Anzat raise his hand with an object in it. Perhaps a glowlamp?

Why would he point a glow lamp at me? Perhaps this is menacing in his culture, being afraid of illumination... A challange though... how bothersome.

"Sir, I do not recognize challanges. As I have said before. I am not here for you or anyone else. To save you the trouble I will tell you, yes I did kill that twi'lek woman. Because while I understand your race's need to feed in such ways, dibilitating a victim in such a way is... simply put.. Rude."

Wolf began dusting off his back for the unseen collection of sand that probably would have stuck to him as he rolled on his back.

"It occurs to me that such acts as rendering an opponent immobile and highly attuned to their own pain is an act that requires little to no honor. So in closing I tell you this. While I do not entertain idea's such as challanges... it would be quite discourteous of me to not help instruct you in the ways of honor. One would think that an Anzati such as yourself with your age and experience would understand such concepts by now. Alas it seems that one would be wrong. So perhaps later the opportunity for a lesson in humilty shall be in order. Until then Sir... I bid you...."

Wolf's face rose to the sky and warmth still grazed his cheek. The insects and nightly wildlife were not yet chirping, the temperature in the air was still warm and the shoulders of his robes were starting to heat up also, giving him the impression that it was still light out and fairly early in the day.

    "... Good afternoon."

Wolf bowed slightly and dissapeared on the spot. His power in blackness being brought to bear.
He ran past the Anzati without the hint of a whisper.

In a few minutes' time he was back in the temple. Blackness dropped as he caught the end of a Masters speech on what classes were being started.

"Those who wish to begin a course in force technique, take the hall to my left. The door at the end of the hall will contain what you seek."

I am already well versed with my blades, up to and not excluding my lightsaber..However I need to learn how to control my inner fire to expel whenever needed and not only when I am fervently concentrating. Looks like I go to the left.

Wolf stuffed his hands into the pockets of his robes and strode forward down the left hallway. Before he entered however Wolf stopped and looked back a the glowing red mass that was the Master.

"Pardon me Master... But will their be an instructor for the Force education as well? Or shall it be personal advancement through practice alone? I ask because you had only mentioned the Instructors for lightsaber training and yourself."

"Those who wish to begin a course in force technique, take the hall to my left. The door at the end of the hall will contain what you seek."

After a brief-but-complex debate, the Kiffar had made his decision. His skills with any formidable and/or contemporary arm had been most refined over the past decade as a would-be bounty hunter, and although his knowledge of the Sith and the Force's truer natures was somewhat bare, it was his manipulation of it that came into primary focus at this juncture.

And so, leftwards he went. His steps were rythmic, his stance determined. A careful, unthreatening palm was planted against Wolf's shoulder, making his way around him as the Miraluka stopped and questioned the Dark Lord of the lessons ahead. His face was still shrouded within his cloak, uncaring of whether or not instructions would be held within, but sure they would be. I wouldn't worry about that.* For Force 'Adepts' such as themselves, it'd be fairly unreasonable to not have any formal mentor within any of the training rooms. He expected much scolding to be directed towards the unintuitiveness of the Seer.

In he went, at any rate, a lost smirk within his dark cloak.

    *I wouldn't worry about that.*

Wolf's ears strained but heard nothing. Instead it was in his mind. His head swivelled around and saw a glowing golden Force stream of oscillating current coming from the mind of another Acolyte, and was being connected to him. The stream was connected to a dimly fading red glow in the shape of a person.

A minder.... how interesting. Possibly a Kiffar or Lorrdian. Interesting indeed. Should I reply to this outloud, some would mistake me for not only blind, but insane. Best to keep it to myself for now until I learn how to respond accordingly.. If at all. Didn't seem like a kind gesture to begin with anyway so...

Wolf returned his attention to the Master to whom he had directed the question.

    IC: Nemisis
    ~Sith Temple - Lehon~

Nemisis lifted his saber and shoved it into the forehead of the rancor, even though it was completely unnecessary since the rancors life was slowly dwindling away. For some reason, he got a sort of pleasure out of causing severe pain to a beast that was so large and so frightful. The last thing that the rancor would see before he died was Nemisis' face, the face of a human who was so much smaller than it. That, too, brought a great deal of pleasure to the Sith Apprentice.

As the last bit of breath escaped the lungs of the rancor, Nemisis leaped off of her, and landed mere meters from Kal. He gave her a respectful nod, as the thought of slicing her in half crossed his mind. He, of course, held back, turning his back on her as he headed towards the door. Why did he always have these thoughts of harming or killing the other apprentices? Was it because he truly longed to feel pain and misery in others? Or was it simply because he wished to rise the ranks of the Sith as fast as possible without any interference? He decided on the latter, since he did happen to hold a great deal of respect for others.

Almost magically, the doors that led to the rest of the temple unlocked. Nemisis searched around in the Force for his master, but he was not anywhere close to the battlegrounds, he was still in the main area of the temple. Perhaps Haretisch knew some sort of Force sorcery that allowed for such techniques to occur. He walked through the doors, not giving it another thought, and headed towards the Main Hall.

When he arrived, he noticed a small congregation of Sith around his master. Unfortunately for Nemisis, he had missed most of the speech that his master had given. But he caught the end of it, and was able to decipher exactly what he was talking about. "Behind me, you see the opening of two corridors. One to my left, and one to my right. Each leads to several rooms used for training. Those who are interested in beginning a course in lightsabre and unarmed combat should take the hall to my right, and enter the room at the end of the hallway. There, Darth Cursar will begin your training program. Those who wish to begin a course in force technique, take the hall to my left. The door at the end of the hall will contain what you seek. Last but not least, those who wish to engage in a slightly more in-depth class concerning force philosophy should remain here with me."

Nemisis stood in thought for a moment. First of all, those around him all outranked him as acolytes. That's not to say that he could not kill any of them in this room, but perhaps he was not suppose to be gathered in with this crowd. He shrugged that thought off; if his master did not want him here, Lord Haretisch would simply say so, and Nemisis would be off to do whatever. Secondly, he was faced with a tough decision. If he were suppose to be here, which area of training would he decide to take? He felt he was already proficient enough with the use of a lightsaber at his level of training. He felt, also, that he lacked in the area of Force technique and training. Which of the three courses would work to his benefit?

He stood there for several moments, contemplating his decision. Ultimately, he decided to take the left path; he was a Marauder after all and they relied on their technique with weapons more-so than anything else. Besides, Nemisis could never learn enough when it came to lightsaber training.

OOC: GM Post: Actually, Nemisis, you and all other apprentices outrank every Acolyte here. Acolytes are pre-apprentices, so to speak. I actually had something else in mind for you, but this time we'll just go along and you can take the class, even though it will be a little bit basic for a character of your level.

    IC: Darth Mystique

Sith Temple, Fourth Level, Council of Darkness

Mystique watched with interest as Idoneus took the holo card. Though there were no signs of expression on his face, still Mystique could sense the dissatisfaction for the mission that was assigned for him. Idoneus was not the typical Black Plague. He had a mind like a Death Marauder, wanting to shed blood the first sign he got. Never the less that wasn?t what most Black Plague?s do. Though the beginning part of the mission is catered to a Shadow Assassin, with the needs of stealth and precision. The rest of the mission actually is more befitting of a Black Plague. The need for cunning, manipulation, control and killing in the most deadly subtle ways with the force and alchemy of which are key attributes for BP?s in certain situations much like this one. They will need someone with Idoneus?s experience to do this mission, plus he would be the one to keep an eye on the jedi. Especially being so close in their territory. This was so critical for their plans. They will be right under the pathetic jedi?s noses that if they sensed the dark side around them, they will indeed be looking for them.

?I know that this is not the mission you have dreamed of. I asure you there will be plenty of time for killing. Now is not the time at least not yet. ?

?I need you to be the eyes and ears for us. While you masquerade as Cedric Alrich, it allows you to have full access to his resources including the Senate. The Jedi don?t know that were around. If were to eliminate them, we need to take them by surprise. In the mean time, there may be a few people that may get in our way. If they are not people who get too much attention, I give my permission to kil them as you please. Just don?t be sloppy. She said in a stern tone to her voice.

"Very well, Lady Mystique. Is the shuttle ready to depart? I just need to grab my street clothes and I shall be ready to go."

?The shuttle is ready for you at any time. Darth Idoneus do not fail me.?

She motioned her hand, to show that he was dismissed. She walked toward a private door after Idoneus left, Her dark robe flowing behind her. Then she was gone.

An unmarked Sith shuttle was already prepared and waiting for lift off. A Sith mechanic droid came up to Idoneus to give him a confirmation. Once in the air the shuttle flew out of the Lehon atmosphere, on its way to the core.

    .............

    Coruscant

Coruscant sky traffic was hectic as usual, and the docks were almost filled up. Idoneus was lucky enough that the shuttle was able to drop him off 20 blocks away from the old Imperial Palace. Though 20 blocks was not as close as he liked, it could have been far worse. The next landing pad that was available was several miles away from his destination.

It wouldn?t have made too much of a difference. Idoneus learned that the building he was seeking called the High Paradise was not available for public access, from a certain level, the mid city entrance. From the holo card that he had seen on his way here, showed areas of heavy security, no doubt the mid city section of the building was where it started.

Remembering that the main frame was actually in the mid city. This was his chance to get the access key code to Alrich?s penthouse suite. If only he could get in without attention. At every entrance and exit were droid security.

    IC: Ito

Ito had already been in the main hall when the Lord had called for a meeting. He glanced around watching the other acolytes. Each choosing on of the three paths. As he watched each acolyte Ito contemplated his own choice. The dark philosophies where his hobby. He would probably end up specialising in their teaching. That's not to say he couldn't fight, for indeed he could. Rather the reasoning of choosing the dark side spiked his curiosity.

He glanced first at the left path. Force techniques huh? Could be mighty useful... But I'm already relatively experienced in the use of the force... Ito let out a little sigh watching the little 'speach' between Wolf and Liam. He had seen the Kiffar use his mental speach often enough to recignise it. Wolf was quite startled by it too by the looks of things.

After watching the pair enter Ito nodded I'll stay here... He decided to himself As much as I need training with my saber I think I can do that on my own with bots... Or simply get one of the others to aid me. Ito couldn't help but chuckle at his last thought. Though admittedly a couple of the other acolytes he could simply ask for a spar with. He wouldn't however, a real live battle taught one more than a spar could. Even though they where close to the same thing in this place.

Ito leant against the wall after his little insanity, then watched as he waited for the teachings to begin. He found it interesting how most only knew the basics of the dark teachings and even then took those for granted. Never learning them properly.

    IC: Darth Idoneus

Darth Idoneus walked the streets around the building, casing it. He changed his pace and stance every now and again to throw off any suspision. Alas, there are no gaps. He knew that in theory, most buildings were secure in their servaillence, but when it came to actually installation, people tended to become sloppy. With only menial disapline, how can they expect true change in a person's mindset.

His feet scuffing to look like a downtrodden Courscanti, he heard a squeak as he stepped on the tail of a small rodent that was scurring around. Grasping it in the Force, he knew how he was going to get past security camera's and into the mainframe.

Going into a dark and damp corner of the street h found several more of these creatures, scurring away for their lives as he enters their living hole. Before they could move an inch he had them in his grasp. Delving into their minds, he twisted the chemical composition of their brains around, making them smarter, making them more able to accept commands. He did not change tier appreance, for if they were found, he did not want it to be traced back to the Sith.

He then slammed a command into their brains. With a scream of terror, the rodents were then silent, but scurring to get out of his Force grasp. Letting them go, he watched as they shot off towars the building, some dropping under the walkway, some running along the top, much like the one he originally found. One was stepped on by a passerby. Idoneus reached out and tripped him, letting that be his only punishment for killing one of his babies. True they were just tools, but they were his tools.

The rodents reached thier destination, the cables that connect the video from the camera to the control room. They began to knaw on the cables. As they broke through they were given shocks to reward their success, but they still kept chewing, some to the point of death, their flight response removed by Idoneus. When the repair crews would come to fix it they would not see a sabatoge attempt, they would see the need to call an exsterminator. With out even know there is already one in the building.

He could feel that no more of the rodents were dying. The cables were cut. Walking over to the door, he could feel another one of his tools working away on the door controls. This took more control so he gave the task to the most intelligent of the creatures. It had to cut the correct wires without setting off any alarms.

And so he waited, his semi inteligent rodent working its magic on the wires.

Plo raised an eyebrow slightly, glancing over to Nemisis. "Apprentice, wait. These training courses are not meant for one such as yourself. I have something else in mind." he ordered, before glancing over to one of the newer arrivals who had a question.

"Pardon me Master... But will their be an instructor for the Force education as well? Or shall it be personal advancement through practice alone? I ask because you had only mentioned the Instructors for lightsaber training and yourself."

"Advancement through practice alone can be done on your own time, acolyte. Even so, practice would be futile if one does not have the knowledge with which to focus one's force abilities. There will be an instructor waiting for you beyond the door. Go on." He finished, as he gestured towards the entrance of the hallway.

As the acolyte scurried off, he turned back to his apprentice. "Now, for more important matters. I have an important task that needs doing. Needless to say, it will be dangerous, and you will require a partner. Are you up to it?" He asked, folding his arms and maintaining a straight, but relatively laid-back posture, considering what would be customary for a Sith of his status. He had carefully crafted his question so as to gauge the apprentice's response, as it was a trademark of his to skillfully detect the subtle aspects of an apprentice's personality which might make or break them as a Sith.

Wolf liked to be prepared for any situation. It was very unlikely to happen but fights did break out rather regularly. The fact of the matter was that by doing what Wolf was, observing, he was making himself more effective should a fight come to him. Gauging who was the most dangerous of the group.

    Mos Eisley, Tatooine

The man Sabith had been seeking had proven a bit more difficult to locate then he had originally believed in the end he had found him on the dusty rock called Tatooine. It made sense most of the scum in the galaxy could be found in one of two places, here or on Nar Shada. This was the better choice for a man like Jeric though. Sitting at the bar Sabith watched as the man interviewed a mass of potential recruits and as the line thinned Sabith decided now was a better time than any.

Rising Sabith made his way to the line and though he could have easily made his way to the front he wanted to be dead last. It was the first and last person that always remained stuck in your mind. By this point Biner had spent hours searching and would no doubt be a bit irritated. In most missions Sabith had been sure to try and blend in but not this time he needed to be different then everyone else.

?So have a name or are you just going to stand there all day?" Stated Jeric. The insult would have been enough to cause most of his fellows to outright slay him but not Sabith he was becoming more and more a master of his emotions. Mixing his teaching of the jedi with that of the sith was helping more and more each day. Pulling up a chair Sabith looked Jeric into the eyes and gave a friendly sly smile.

"Look Jeric we both now that the trash you had to deal with wasn't worth your time. My names not that important and we both now it but you can call me Arklos." It was Sabith's Jedi name and a name that had been lost to nearly everyone. "So let me get to the point you need someone dependable, fast, and talented. Well you won?t find anyone better than me that much I can assure you. If you want to know more here's a holodisk with all the data you need to get in touch with me."

With that Sabith stood and began to leave. He had no doubt that Jeric would call him to find out more about his unusual prospect. The data disk that Sabith had given Biner held much more than just comm codes, it also held references, ship specks, and other things that would cause Jeric to need Sabith. All of which would could be verified within a few moments. In fact the data even mentioned the fact he had once been a jedi but had left the order due to his personal beliefs.
This alone might cause Jeric to give Sabith a double take. Regardless Sabith had things to do.

"Apprentice, wait," Darth Haretisch said, glancing at Nemisis. "These training courses are not meant for one such as yourself. I have something else in mind." His master then spoke to another lower member of the Sith order. So, Nemisis' suspicions were correct, he was not to be here. Oh well, at least he showed his master that he was willing to learn no matter what the teachings were.

Soon enough, his master finished dealing with the other apprentice - or acolyte or whatever, it did not matter to Nemisis what rank this man was, he would not halt Nemisis' rise to the top. If he did, Nemisis would deal with him in a rather painful manner. "Now, for more important matters," His master said. "I have an important task that needs doing. Needless to say, it will be dangerous, and you will require a partner. Are you up to it?"

Nemisis stayed silent for only a brief moment, allowing himself to think. Of course he would accept. The fact that it was dangerous was not what made him hesitant, but rather the fact that he had always considered himself a loner who worked better alone rather than with a partner. He realized that his master was testing him. It seemed that everything that his master said and did was a test. Nemisis had become use to that, and expected nothing less. "Of course I will accept, My master," he said bowing his head in respect. The thought of who his partner was going to be crossed his mind, but he knew exactly who it was. It was definitely going to be Kal, the other apprentice that had aided him in killing the monstrous rancor. He didn't mind too much. Perhaps something would go wrong and Kal would have to be disposed of. Certainly, if she got in the way of his success, he would have to deal with her in a less than pretty way. That thought brought a small smile to his face, but he wiped it off carefully so as to not cause suspicion from his master.

Standing tall in the center of the room was the mysterious Darth Angentine, a human female of largely unknown origin. Her hood cast shadows over her face, her wine-colored lips being the only visible portion of her face. She was known for her reclusive behavior among the order, and fittingly most members had never even seen her entire unhidden face. "Welcome." She greeted the small group of about seven which had just entered the room, her silky voice breaking the silence. She was exceptionally tall for a human female, nearly a head taller than average. This served to establish her as a very imposing presence in the minds of her enemies.

"We can begin when all of you are prepared." She spoke again, ready to start the class when necessary.

His most pressing need was to gain further understanding of how exactly the darkside of the Force operated, and he was willing to pass up on the more exciting types of training to gain that knowledge. Standing towards the back Rhi noticed that the blind acolyte he had almost beheaded the Anazat Arden earlier also stood in close vicintiy to him causing the Kiffar a curious smirk to appear on his lips.

"One would tend to wonder why it is that you've chosen to stay here when the other two offered courses hold ideology much more suited for you Wolf", he addressed the his blind associated beside him his eyes still directed to the front where the Sith teacher stood.

"One would tend to wonder why it is that you've chosen to stay here when the other two offered courses hold ideology much more suited for you Wolf."

Wolf's ears twitched and his head tilted to the side in the direction of the voice.

    "Rhi... Correct?"

Wolf fully turned to his fellow Acolyte and nodded in greeting.

"You are right to assume that lightsaber combat may be suited to my style. But combat in and of itself is already my speciality. I prefer not to use the lightsaber if at all possible. Blades of steel and metals are silent. No give aways to let a foe know you are coming. I am here because history lessons do not make me stronger right now. The Force is something I rely on to make up for the sightless nature of my species. But I wish to know how to control it's currents in order to better understand how to use my skills, then in turn apply them to develop new skills to become that much more deadly to a Jedi Knight. Eventually I will be able to use my knowledge to the extent that when I use my skills, full fledged Jedi Masters will pass from this universe without knowing that they have left their fleshy prisons."

Wolf turned back to the Master in front of them.

"That... is why I am here. Mister Rhi."

    "Rhi... Correct?"

The Kiffarian acolyte nodded his affirmation before allowing his distinct presences within the Force to be known to his blind associate.

"You would be right in your assumption there Wolf", he answered shortliy enough though he managed to keep his voice even without any hint of malice intent.

Rhi listened somewhat intently as his blind associate gave his explaination for remaining in the particular room, and the Kiffarian could understand such a stance. While Wolf was interested on how the darkside might best aide him in more of a stealth type manner Rhi's purpose was his pursuit of mastery that he could control the enormous cache of power that awaited him in the darkside. His vengences would fall upon the Jedi Order soon enough, and after that was done Rhi would set his will upon the galaxy as a whole for in his estimations it certainly was lacking of the right kind of leadership. He chose to keep his intentions hidden behind is hatred for the jedi, and he would do so until time was ripe for his ambition to come forth.

"I can understand such a stance Wolf, and as I've seen so far your handicap hasn't hindered you in any way", Rhi answered observantely sensing that a rather profitable connection could be forged with the blind one. "Either way we all have our reasons for why were here, and the darkside is a means to fulfill those goals quickly enough", he added in a low toned whisper his mind wrapping itself around the potential he sensed from his fellow acolyte, and it intrigued Rhi to no end.

Wolf was intrigued by the Kiffarian. He was the only one here who Wolf could sense had goals running parallel to his own.

Wolf turned his head back in the direction of Rhi.

"Either way we all have our reasons for why were here, and the darkside is a means to fulfill those goals quickly enough."

Wolf allowed a small smile to play across his lips as the larger, more muscular companion said this.

    "Yes..."

He turned his head back to the Instructor once more, but continued to speak to Rhi.

    "Yes. It is...."

What an interesting man..... I shall watch him carefully. Either we will be the best of companions here or the worste of enemies. Either outcome will be most enjoyable...

Stopping to think for a moment, Haretisch glanced over to the acolytes who had stayed for the philosophy discussion. "Class will begin shortly. Until then, I have business to take care of with this individual over here." He said, gesturing to his apprentice.

He then returned his attention to Nemisis, pleased that his student hadn't any reservations about working in a team setting.

"As it turns out-" Plo began, looking over to the entrance of the main hall. "The person I had in mind for your partner doesn't seem to be coming any time soon, and this is quite an urgent matter. I believe you should be able to handle it alone, no?"

Not waiting for a response, he pulled a small holo-projector from his robes. He let the device rest in the palm of his left hand as he activated it, projecting a small map of the surrounding area.

"If you'll notice, our recon droids have spotted a small settlement a little ways west of here. We believe it is a mercenary encampment. As of right now, they haven't been of any great bother. However, the council has decided it best to eliminate them now before they cause trouble. That's where you come in. I want every living creature in and around the place completely eradicated. Understood?"

    -~- Force Training Chamber
Liam walked through the blast door and made his way silently through the vast hall towards the half-circle of students that had already formed before him. He was taller than some, perhaps all, and idly stood behind the majority of them, his breathing a bit louder than his calm feet as he walked his way forth. His face, like that of the seeming mentor Darth Angentine was heavily shrouded as per usual when wearing his ominous cloak, his tight lips and stern jaw barely visible within the dark cowl.

He waited for all greetings and commotion to subside and nodded accordingly as their instructor spoke, patient, unseen eyes laying carefully on her, however his mind soaking in all of the movement about the entire training chamber, as it well should. His hands were held at the wrist before him, waiting for anything further.

Rhi stood besides his blind acquaintance he could feel the probing tendrils extending from Wolf towards him though it didn't bother him as much as he thought it would. The pair of them both understood each other rather well especially due to the fact that they were complete strangers, and Rhi was weary for the first thing he had ever learned about the sith was it was their nature to be trecherous. He would indulge the blind acolyte for as long as it benefitted him, and allow things to play out on their own his curiousness was definitely aroused now at this prospect the darkside had brought to his life. He didn't say another word to Wolf, yet Rhi's mind worked hungrily in how this new situation could be worked from many angles with one thought in mind.

For as long as it is benefical there is no harm done in finding a few associates amongst this hell hole of schemeing souls.
