Don't you think Padmé should have told on Anakin?

    Look - people really need to try and understand what an attachment is, at least by Lucas' Star Wars definition.

    An attachment is when you are in a situation where you desire something from your attachment. It iis when you are in a situation where this attachment effects you. Its not about caring for others or being unconditional. You fear losing the attachments.

    No Jedi can be attached, else that means they are being greedy and are full of fear. That is the way of the Sith.

    Luke was ot attached to Vader when he saved him/brought him back to the light - he was compassionate and loved him. Had he been attached he would have acted from a greedy point of view, caring about how the situation will effect him. The fact that he is willing to sacrifice his own life shows that he was not attached.

    Jedi are supposed to love an feel compassion for everyone. But they cant form attachments. Thats the state Luke was in when he brought Vader back. He loved him. He wasnt attached.
