Dooku vs Yoda

Who would win out of dooku or yoda

I think yoda would have won if Dooku didn't run

 

Definately Yoda, he's so cool!

 

Yoda was good, Dooku was ok, Obi was well, Obi, Anakin was a waste of time!!!!!!!

Yoda by far because Dooku I just don't like and he is not so great thats why he had to make that column fall over.

Yoda would win in a straightforward fight. They both move well, but Yoda's just got Dooku's number because he trained him.

I definately think Yoda would have one. He has like, 800+ years of experience on Dooku, give or take a decade. Plus, Yoda wouldn't need his saber to defeat Dooku, luminous being he is, not this crude matter.

I say Dooku would have eventually won. The way he fights (form II) was developed specifically for lightsaber dueling. He's also not above fighing dirty and using the dark side, something Yoda wouldn't do.

 

Thats kinda debatible. I mean yoda is over 800 yrs old, hes got to be wise enough to know you cant always win cleanly. but to argue with my self we dont really know yoda enough to know that.

I do think yoda had the advantage against Dooku, with skill. Not too mention the fact he was trained by Yoda. Does anyone know who many padawans yoda has?

 

He trained all the younglings, but I think the only Jedi in the movies that have actually been his personal padawans were Luke and Ki-Adi-Mundi. Dooku was trained by Thame Cerulian.

Just because Dooku trained under Yoda doesn't necessarily give Yoda the advantage. In fact, it arguably works the opposite way. Yoda knew Dooku when he was young, and still dveloping his style, so Yoda's info on Dooku is liekyl to be outdated. Whereas Dooku knew Yoda after Yoda's style was already set, so Dooku probably has the better idea of Yoda's moves than vice versa.

 

Yoda would win,Dooku fought well,but he was tired after Obi and Anakin and he would start to get more and more defensive and then Yoda would disarm him.

Yoda has more experience and fights alot better then dooku so he would wupp Dooku

Dooku has experience and the dark side of the Force. The only thing that made him formiddible was the fencing style of fighting he did with the lightsaber.

On the other hand, Yoda has way more experience than Dooku, was Dooku's master once, and his knowledge of the Force is like no other.

Just from watching the battle many, many , many times Yoda would have won in the end. He was faster, more aggressive in his fighting style and his height was his best advantage. There was less for Dooku to hit than vice-versa.
