Dooku's attempt to gain Obi-Wan as an apprentice...?

I did a search for this topic and didn't find it. If it's already in existance, please give me a link.

I was watching ATOC and noticed that Dooku was a definite Sith there. His appeal to Obi-Wan on Geonosis was a classic lure. He appealed to him through his former master. He mentioned some truth, but not the whole truth. While he doesn't know that Sidious is Palpatine, he wants Obi-Wan to help him "destroy the Sith." This means that together they destroy Darth Sidious. Then he can be Dark Lord and continue to drag Obi-Wan along with him as an ignorant servant.

Of course, Obi-Wan is too intelligent to fall for this ploy.
