Doom 3: ROE question

Okay, so I beat the first big bad guy. What do I do now? I'm in this room, but I can't go anywhere.

 

Sorry never played Doom 3.

 

^This is for the Doom 3 Expansion, not the main Doom 3 game.

 

Spook.... I know you!

 

Go through the door?

 

I did go through the door, but there's another door that's blocked after it, and I can't figure out a way around it.

 

Go through a Ventilation Duct?

Seriously, it's Doom we're talking about, logistics and problem solving are not this game's strong point.

 

Never mind. I figured it out. And no I didn't go through a ventalation duct.

 

Ouch! That was a low blow....

 

Sometimes choosing door A or B can be a very difficult choice, much less choosing which monster to blow away at any given moment. You throw 10 or more monsters at the player at once and they might as well give up right then and there because there is no way that the human brain can handle all that data, ESPECIALLY on nightmare mode!

Doom 3 is a logistical nightmare!

^Yeah. Doom 3 is on the level of KOTOR for me. OOOH. I can be sacastic to this guy, or be nice to this guy, and I get points for it! And the predestined game will plot out a predestined choice for me based on my responses. Someone pinch me.

 

Is KOTOR a "thinking" game?

I would label KOTOR as an RPG.
