Do's and Dont's for the convention?

I have also figured out this autograph thing is a must huh? So I guess I better put a few dollars aside for the kids for that.

Do people really get that many? I would figure the lines would be so long you would be lucky to get half that. again...words from a newbie

That'll be a great opportunity to meet fellow TF.N/FanForce folks, and I think it may be one of the highlights of the Celebration.

Fan Force members aren't charging for autographs... right?

 

I think the autographs depend on who you're really interested in meeting. My main priorities or David Prowse, Jeremy Bulloch and Billy Dee Williams. Depending on who's on the final guest list is going to determine if I buy a whole book of vouchers or not. A lot of the guests, I already have autographs from AlphaCon so they aren't that high on my priority list.

Speaking of autographs- Does anyone know how to remove the range finder from the mini Fett helmet? That's what I want to have Jeremy Bullock sign but I don't want to risk breaking the range finder.

And as far as what qualifies as a Geekus Maximus- the main trait would have to be the inability to carry on a conversation so called "normal" person (a non-SW fan) without referencing Star Wars.

I actually didnt know about the fan force party on friday night.
This is basically a mini family vaca for me so not sure how many "parties" I may actually attend.

I think I wont be able to move by dinner time friday after all the walking I will be doing.

I am assuming an important DO would be COMFORTABLE SHOES?

Not sure...I think the powers that be are debating on whether they want Naboo Security Volunteers, Gammorean Guards, or clone troopers to take care of any possible trekkie problems....they're worried about costs and lawyers....I told them they could go the cheap way and just call Orkin, or maybe spend a little money to get a Trek celeb lookalike to sign autographs in the back of a Marion County Police Paddy wagon, and just haul them out to a deserted cornfield and let them loose. Farmers are worried about the effects on the soybean harvest as it is with the possible El Nino returning, so this might not be a feesable option either. I'll keep you updated as I am made aware of them.

It's not that I have a problem with Trekkies but with the Trekkies that showup to Satr Wars events dressed up like friggin' Klingons. Lte me know Sebulba X, so I know if I need to make an official Trekkie A$$ Kicker shirt.
