Hi, I'm a long time reader, first time poster (LTRFTP). Since this is my first post, sorry if it's in the wrong place or should be somewhere else, or already talked about!

I remember for episode I the line up for tickets at the Paramount was that the office by the Cumberland theatres, does anyone know if that will be the same for this year? I remember that Paramount wasn't open at that time, that's why they were selling tickets else where. Does anyone know where the line up will be? And will anyone else be lining up downtown? Thanks!

So far as I'm aware, there are no lines organized for downtown. I imagine that tickets will be available at the Paramount boxoffice and online at movietickets.com.

We'll be up at the Grande for the opening night, it's a really nice theater and a better locale for lining up, but we hope you join us later on the weekend when we head over to the Paramount for the digital projection.

Hi Mirasolo, nice to meet you. How did you get into Star Wars? We had an introduction thread around somewhere so that everyone could get a better feel for one another but it's been bumped off the front page again.

Has anyone heard of any other Toronto line-up for Star Wars on some other forum? Or is it just us at the Grande?

hey everyone, thanks for the warm welcome. I think I've been a fan since I was three, my first movie was RoTJ, my dad took me to see it, and he was always playing the movies around the house. I fell in love for the first time at that movie...with Han. Every man I date has to fit into the Han model, which is not an easy one to live up to! ;)

I have the general downtown mentality, where everything is within walking distance, to get on the subway to see at $13 film is too much for me!

Yeah, but for the line it's a subway ride to hang out with a bunch of crazy fans, and then see a movie, with probably the most amazing energy in the theater.

No movie going experience has ever come close to what seeing Episode I was like, after having lined up for 2 weeks, and then seeing it WITH a whole crowd of other people who'd been lining up. It was amazing.

"That's no street party, that's a MOVIE LINE!"
