OOC: I don't know about the rest of you. But I'm up for just ending it. The game seems to be dragging on a bit.

    IC: Gruu Funkistann
    Docking Bay - Noah's Ark

Gruu came rushing back out of the MI6 Transport to meet up with Shasta, Pandolfo and Halon. "We-sa got a response! Dere wasn't much in da message, but apparently da Sheyf has been captured. No word on who-sa is behind it."

"Wait," Shasta asked, "so the Kiffu Palace has been taken over?"

"It looks dat way," Gruu responded.

"Let's go save the Kiffu people," Shasta added, punching a fist into her open hand, ready for more action.

TAG: Halon, any other Ark people wanting to join in on the final chapter of this game...

"Let's go save the Kiffu people!"

Halon nodded in agreement and joined the others headed toward the transport.

"Has this all just been a feint, then?" Halon asked of no one in particular.

OOC: That whole crisis on Kiffu is pretty much over now, right?

OOC: I have no problem with this. Behold my exit! Its been lovely Dubya, I-5. Best of luck in your future endeavors! Drop me a PM some time. :)

    IC: XANA
    Location: Lair

And behold, the moment of truth. All eyes, sensors, and imaging equipment were focused on the place where the hole would be cut. Immediately torrents of laser fire shot out towards the opening. But instead of heavily armored agents rappelling down, there was only a small, was it spherical?, object thrown.

It activated on impact, giving XANA only split second to even contemplate what it was. But that was too short, and soon he knew all to well. Judging by the visible arcs of electricity and jerky spasms of his creations, it had to have been an EMP. He had not briefed that MI-5 had that technology! His droids and a majority of his equipment were not prepared!

He watched helplessly as his droids dropped to the floor, useless.

There was one last card to play.

XANA activated his latest and ultimately last creation through what remained of his sensitive and protected mainframes. The dull red sensor of the weapons platform flickered to green.

<<Prime Missile and Fire>> was its received command.

As the turret on top of it swiveled, explosions could be heard from the electrically damaged gyros keeping the platform steady. XANA could only watch helplessly as the platform toppled over, its now misfired missile shooting off into the mainframes that had survived the EMP.

The mainframes that were charged with sustaining XANA's fragile organic form. The explosion all but obliterated the banks of computers.

The once man's body spasmed twice, twisting and turning as the cords connected into his body from the ceiling stopped supplying electricity. Without it, his heart could not receive the stimulation it needed to start beating, his lungs could not receive the stimuli they needed to expand and contract. Within seconds, he was dead.

When MI-5 agents were to make it down, they would find XANA, the man. His sparsely clothed body hung limp, attached to the wires inserted into his skin. He hung from the ceiling like some colossal spider attached to a web of cords, his pastey white feet dangling inches off the floor of the elevated dais where he was perched. The computer terminals around him were all smoking or shutting down, as a result of the massive system failure endured by the misfired missile.

They would find no booby traps. XANA didn't believe in such things. No group of agents could ever get so far and live.

The mysterious being called XANA would take his mysteries to the grave.

    TAG: Agents

    Happy RPing! :)

OOC: Wow. It seems everyone's tired of this game. Okay then. I'll leave it open for at least a couple of days just in case any other players wish to bring their characters stories to a close. After that, I'll post an epilogue and contact the Mods.

Then, when that is done, LightWarden is free to do what he wishes.

Again, you'll have a few days to post whatever else you want to conclude your characters stories.

OOC: Given that I'm the one running the next game, I could conceivably start it before this game even closes, since that doesn't go against the "one game per customer per board" rule. It would also give players more time to work on their characters. Though maybe it wouldn't be proper to go against tradition?

Dubya, should I send you the opening post myself and then you can post it whenever?

If you'd like. It doesn't matter. Either way is fine.

And I'm at school at the moment, so I'll post a conclusion a little later.

OOC: I'm gonna fast-forward my scenes a little bit.

IC as Hal Rendar, Noah's Ark:

Hal Rendar did not wait for the other agents to respond to the SOS signal. He immediately took off from the the doctor's Battle Station and sped down to the prison planet on his Outlander.

    Kiffu palace

Hal saw no one inside the palace as soon as he arrived in it. There was no sign of the Sheyf or any of her guards. Instead, he saw six bodies lying on the floor, all dead. There were blaster burns on the wall, an indication that a battle happened here. He kneeled down to the bodies on the floor and inspected them. They were not Kiffar, but a group of varied species. It seems like there were others here before, the group who attacked the palace, and defeated Sheyf's guards. But something fought them back. A specie of some kind, not a Kiffar, who put the holes on the bodies of these dead men. Then Hal remembered... on Alderaan, when they are getting out of that hotel... Utton Vog reveals himself as the one who attacked their Mi5 HQ with insects. The Mi5 don't know yet how did Vog do that... but on Alderaan, he saw when tentacles got out of Vog's back, right before he escaped and disappeared in one of the hotel's windows.

Hal immediately turned on his comlink. "Mi5, we got a situation here. The Kiffu palace is attacked, and the Shyef is nowhere to be found." Hal rushed to one of the rooms of the palace, hoping to find the Sheyf.

"Death by misfire... how hilariously anticlimatic."

She turned to face the others.

"Well, that's one more problem solved. Time t' see what we can salvage from his systems, Ah guess. Has anyone seen where they put the stairs?"

    Shalin Kitovaz

"Mi5, we got a situation here. The Kiffu palace is attacked, and the Shyef is nowhere to be found."

    Shalin turned to the communicator.

"Given that you've only been away from the place for an hour or two and nothing's been spotted leaving orbit, she can't have gone very far. Check the lower levels, she's probably in either a room doubling as either a makeshift fortification or a makeshift holding area."

    He switched to his commlink.

    "Ace-"

"-Don't need to tell me twice Straight, I'm already gone" said Raya.

In one of the docking bays of the vessel, the Indigo Wind rumbled as part of the armored hull slid open, revealing a gaping hollow behind it.

    Raya turned on her commlink

"You'll have to pretend you didn't see this, because I'm not really sure if I have the right license to own one of these."

There was a bright blue glow, and the S-100 Stinger fighter shot out from the vessel's hanger. Essentially a turbolaser strapped to an engine bank, the fighter's design pre-dated the Sith Wars. It had taken her years to build it based on schematics found in the depths of the Great Holocron, updating the 4000 year old technology to modern standards. The end result was a high speed blaze of destruction most suitable for a pilot who was either crazy, drunk, gifted with fast reflexes or a Jedi. Raya wasn't even sure what it should be legally classified under, owing to the fact that the Jedi Order wasn't militarized, the ship could only count as a Republic military vessel on a technicality given its status as a museum piece, and civilians most certainly didn't have this sort of firepower.

"NYA HA HA HAAAA!" laughed Raya, as she tore across the docking bay and exited the Ark. Darting through the escape pods and life boats, she angled the starfighter towards the planet, accelerating towards the planet.

Back on board the ship, Shalin and the old woman got up and moved away from the consoles.

"Take over" he said, indicating to Doa. Hipparra was waiting aboard the Wind with their guest- there was still one thing they needed to take care of...

"Your pardon is asked for... but for what reasons were your actions at the headquarters facility prompted?"

Ruana stared at the Jedi, looking puzzled. "I don't quite understand what you-" she broke off, her face going slightly paler. "I'll return in a moment," she said instead, walking away rapidly.

She returned almost immediately, but it was clear that she had washed hands and face in the interval. She was still pale, and inwardly reprimanding herself. It was utterly ridiculous, after all she'd seen, to feel nauseous in the presence of blood. "Sorry," she said, with a somewhat weak smile. "I don't usually just dash off like that, but I was feeling a touch off-colour." Ruana shook her head, looking slightly vexed with herself.

    Hipparra

"I don't quite understand what you- I'll return in a moment."

The conversation was halted as the other woman was affected by a sudden... discoloration. A step forward was taken as the room was exited by the other agent, a questioning glance sent in her wake. When her return was made, the eyes of a healer were turned upon her, the Force fully embraced by Hipparra.

"Apologies are offered for this query, but when was the last time a visit to a doctor was made?"

A question was posed as a study was conducted, the woman's body examined with a trained gaze. The body's secrets would not be kept.

    "Very rarely. Why?"

Oddities were present, slight variations in the internal currents of cellular essence, rippling disturbances emanating from a point source... a reverberation, an echoing presence...

"Apologies are offered for the abruptness, but..."

The woman's eyes were met by the healer's.

"It seems you are... with child."

Ruana stared at the Jedi, who seemed intent on figuring something out. Still, with the Jedi being medically-trained, perhaps she did know something Ruana didn't about her present condition.

"Apologies are offered for the abruptness, but..."

Ruana tensed slightly, preparing to hear whatever it was that Hipparra had deduced.

"It seems you are... with child."

The slender agent's jaw dropped slightly, her eyes wide, looking stunned. "Frelling novas.." she muttered, slightly dazed. It was most certainly not something she'd been expecting. Ruana stared incredulously at the Jedi, even as her mind whirred through various elements...and was forced to conclude that Hipparra knew what she was talking about.

Abruptly, her expression transformed into a wide smile. It had been very surprising news...but it was also one of the best bits of news she'd heard in a long time. "That is..." she shook her head slightly, the amazed smile still on her face, "just...great." The smile altered to one of gratitude as she looked over at the healer. "I am glad you realised and let me know.." Her vocabulary seemed to dissolve again, so joyful over the news that forming more sentences was nowhere near the first thing on her mind.
