    Thats the BBC for you
They often seem to lose sound during transmissions

They even lost picture briefly before the episode began

It was ok. Will have to see the rest of the series before i could lay judgement. My only gripe would be Can you really fit an entire Doctor Who story into 45 mins? Its a bit of a push.

Oh, I meant to mention that. Cliffhanger endings have always been a part of the programme. I thought the self-contained story worked well, though.

I woudnt say that is a nessesity. Plus, if you notice, a lot of teh DR WHO DVDS are 4 episodes around a disk.. 4 eps a story, now only 3/4 have a relative cliffhanger ending.

they'll be a couple/ few two parter episodes withihn the series, just like the older episodes

Sat down, watched it, loved it. My 22 month old sister loved it. It was completely wacky and that's why I loved it. Can't wait for the Daleks. Will there be Cybermen in the series?

    ^^^

unfortunatly,no. No cybermen in THIS seires.. dont count out the next series though.

The dalek episode is episode 6/7 i think, aparently there is only one. and its stalking the heros... kinda reminiscient of "alien"??:D

I thought graham nortons interrruption was the voice over for Autons

    My review:

YEs it very cheesy but i hope it will improve
with the same kind of scare when the darleks were brought in. They could beef a little bit more on the special effects though :D

I'm glad that Dr Who came back

I hope that the Triffids and The Tripods make a return as well.

the only old aliens from the old seires' are the autons and the dalek. thats it... all teh rest are new

edit, i personally though the sontarans were the scariest DR who monster [face_worried]
    [image=http://www.visi.com/~tjbuege/skaro/images/sontaran.jpg]

also, my favourite doctor was either Peter davidson or tom baker.... i think Davidson more so

I belive the daleks will also make an appearance in the final 2 parter at the end of the series.

Buts thats only what I've heard, so it might not be true

But I hope it is, one Dalek is so terribly dull

"But I hope it is, one Dalek is so terribly dull "

I dunno, i kinda have a good feeling about teh dalek episode. Only one dalek will be a tad more spooky than dalek overload, IMO.

But one Dalek, chained up, (as it looks like it will be for a big part of the episode) poses little threat.

They have so many weaknesses, which is why they attack in numbers

Its was fun. I only remember watching repeats during the mid 90's (im guessing) and i used to love it them. This was very good. My younger sister who's 16 also thought it was good, and it was the first time she was watching Dr Who (apart from that movie Channel 4 always put on, with the daleks)

I hoesntly thought when i heard the clapping someone threa Rose a suprise party

LOL! Me and my sister also thought it was a surprise party, and then we were wandering what that clapping was for, when no party appeared
