I loved it! Loved Chris Ecclestone, played it just right. I think he is now my fav Dr. Supposidly you can tell some one age by who their era Dr was, mine was Davidson. Come on Saturday !

Mine was Davison too. There's only a year between us, so it seems to be true.

Never really liked the show, I feel the low production values have tended to distract from the story, but I thought I'd give the new series a try.

I watched until Dr Who started to get strangled by the plastic hand, and then I could handle no more. :p

The tackiness gives it its appeal

Its hard to not make it tacky
Look at the Daleks, the only way to make them un-comical to a modern audience is to totally rebuild them.

But then they just wouldn't be the same :p

The Daleks are one of those beings that people who have never seen Dr Who can identify.

    Like Darth Vader
People who haven't seen Star Wars know who he is

I'm 18, and my favourite Doctor is Davidson... does that go against the grain in any way?

The new Dr Who was OK they've decided to go like the old series and make it silly and not try and compete with newer sci-fi series and just make it for the family and kids to sit down and watch.

    Best Dr Who Pertwee

Think it's a bit harsh to call him a ****, I mean it is his life and if he doesn't want to be stuck in the same job so be it. Bit unfortunate, because after the weekend I thought he was ace as the Dr.

Very well, I retract that statement

But if he didn't want to do more then 1 series he shouldn't have signed up.
And if he didn't want to do it for a very long time he could do just 2 years then leave like previous Doctors have done

How do you think it will look on the list of Doctors to have

    Christopher Eccleston: 2005-2005

dunno if they've started shooting again but there were loads of trailers parked where the Dr Who film crew usually park when i was in town yesterday.

i love giving really vague 'spy reports'. i kinda saw some film crew around and stuff

I do agree, he should of at least done 2 series, but oh well, what can we do?

And nice report Stuey, I saw a flock of birds the other day, so I think they are remaking 'The Birds'
