Unfortunately, I had bills and other responsibilities to attend to.

So I didn't bother with Dragon Con.

I'll bother with it next year!

Definately going back next year.

Hello my New York bretheren!

I just wanted to drop in to say that it was a total blast meeting many of you at Dragon*Con. The Northeastern table was definitely rockin' at the FF dinner, and it was very enjoyable talking with all of you.

Obi-Will, you were a terrific contestant in the Mr. Star Wars contest. I do hope that you'll make the trip to Dragon*Con and enter again next year.

Meriwyn and others, it was wonderful to finally meet you and I do hope that you all will be trekking down to Atlanta for DC 2004.

And next time, I'm going to drink whatever you guys were drinking...if I'm not commuting in to the con every day like I did this time.

Yay! Hi Mandy! We loved meeting you and your crew as well. Can't wait for next year! Hope our two groups can do more together in the future.

Well, any big events or cons in the NYC area before next DragonCon? We definitely got to make our way to your neck of the woods some time. I'm originally from New Hampshire, so winter time doesn't phase me too much. But I've never been to NYC and have always wanted to go and visit, even for a lonnggg weekend.

You guys should come up for the Halloween Parade. Imagine DragonCon on the streets of Greenwich Village.

We are having a con here April 17 and 18th 2004 called Empire Fan Fest.....I wonder who is putting that on.

I'd love to come up there for Halloween, but my wallet still will not have recovered from Dragon*Con.

Yes, yes...details on Empire Fest. Please? Is it a con or just a BIG get together? Is it actually in NYC? Details. It's all about the details.

Empire Fan Fest is a real convention that will be held over a period of 2 days Sat April 17th and Sunday April 18 2004 in a 10 thousand sq ft exhibit hall attached to the Crowne Plaza hotel in Secaucus NJ which is 4 miles from Times Square.

Our focus will be American Animation, Sci Fi and gaming. We have several rooms on the second floor which will have various panels, screenings and games of all types going on from morning til night. And you can bet there will be a Star Wars presence at this show!

Sounds like it will be tons of fun!

I've been looking for an excuse to visit New York. Perhaps this can be it.

Hey all!

Since many of you make the trip down to my fair city of Atlanta every year, I thought that the least I can do is make a trip up to New York.

Right now, my mom and I are planning on flying up to New York for the Empire Fan Fest...if all goes well. My mom and I both have always wanted to visit the New York area and it will give me the chance to hang out with my New York FF friends again.

Wooo hoooo!!! Yay!! I'm so psyched you'll be joining us! Can't wait to have you visit our neck of the woods

The most difficult part of the trip will be getting me on a plane.

I haven't flown in 22 years (I was 8 years old the last time I flew). I told my mom that she might have to drug me to get me on the plane.
