So what do ya say Joe? Wanna make a fourtune teller costume for D*con 05? LOL We can set up shop right next to Spats table at the bar! We're bound to make money! Well.. so long as hes not wearing caution tape anyway LOL

 

Sam, I have a distinct feeling that he won't be in caution tape again.....maybe something WORSE.

I'm dressing up as Spat for DC05. LOL

I'm kidding, but see how many people steal that idea.

A quick "Trek" movie-related aside re: one of next year's D*C guests...

Is it me or wasn't Kirstie Alley the better Saavik than Robin Curtis? I dunno...Curtis just didn't have the kind of edge Kirstie had.

It's been a few weeks after this year's D*C and I'm kind of regretting not getting Sandra Taylor's autograph...I dunno, guy thing, I guess.

Just a note: anyone interested in downloading some of those cute videos created for Dragon*Con 2004(ads for the "Dread Pirate Roberts Seminar", "Phaser-Eye Surgery", and so forth) can find them at http://www.dragoncontv.com .

I'm picking up my pics later tonight, and I'll be throwing them onto an ImageEvent account I started a couple of weeks ago.

Keep an eye out for the one with the two body-painted cat-ladies...I'm still kicking myself for not talking to them after getting the shot!! GRRRR!!

Here's one part of your planning that you can start spinning your respective beanies on...

What costumes are you hoping to have ready by D*C 2005?

For me, I should have both the Old Republic and post-ROTJ versions of my Jedi outfit on hand...and by then I'll have had a bit of practice in putting them on, moving around in them and taking them off.

I'll be back in the tux jacket version of the vampire outfit(from this year, of course) as well, and if I have it by then the elf look I've been contemplating.

OK, guys n' gals...the floor is yours.

I'll probabaly have atleast 2 of the episode 3 costumes by then... I hope! They are pretty elaborate this time around!

In other words, I'm just going to wear an Indian dress. Bet only a few people have ever done that. But maybe I should tell people I'm from something a little more recognisable, like, "Bend It Like Beckham."

Im probably gonna have my Jedi, Rebel Fleet Trooper and probably 2 new costumes as well. One of which I hope to be ATAT armor. The other I havent decided on yet, but it will be NON Star Wars.
