Dragon*Con Staff???

Those aren't folks from our group. Perhaps it's another FanForce chapter, or something? It's hard to keep up.

What is this brown bag you're talking about? We're planning a FanForce dinner for Friday night, so is this something we should be concerned about?

finally got the story on those people<lol>

They are a Star Wars group and based in Atlanta, so we assumed they were you. Actually, they are a group called the Star Wars Hecklers. Anyway, they are a fun group, perhaps you can get them to join you as it is a pretty large group of people involved.

As far as the brown bag dinner goes, Well, we often find, especially those of us on staff, that there is so much going on, that there is no time to eat. Sooooo, we have to build in a panels so we can<lol> This is extremely informal. This just gives people--who aren't going to the Fan Force dinner, a chance to grab a pizza or something and have a quiet place to eat it. We are not supplying the food, you bring what ever with you--"brown bag".
Also just an informal time to hang out and talk about Star Wars, do some trading etc. Food is not required to attend. You can just come and hang out and talk and bring me the Go-Gurt tubes I need! <lol>

Oh, we added a new panel on Saturday night--Star Wars ATOC vs Star Trek: Nemesis. The Trekers are coming to our room to duke it out. What is faster? Warp or Hyperspace. Phasers or Blaster? Stormtroopers or Borg.

Should be a fun time.

 

Star Wars Hecklers. Never heard of them (which isn't saying much), but it sounds amusing.

Of course, like we need MORE people with sarcastic wit in our group. ::looking at the 501st::

 

Actually, one our first meeting attendees is a Star Wars Heckler. You may remember him Rosiewook. It's Wade. Yes, he is one of the proud, the few. It's a shame that more of them don't come out of the woodwork to come to our meetings.

 

Wade? Really?! I'da never thunk it.

Who knows? Maybe we'll make some more friends at DragonCon.
