Well the event has came and went pretty quick. The only person from Omaha that I saw was Jake. Had a blast though it wasn't quite as crazy as last years party. A whole lot of Star Wars costumes this year along with several comic books heroes/villans as well as the usual goth crowd (though not as many as last year). A lot of photos are up around the web with more popping up as you read this. Next year since there won't be a SWC3, yet, I plan on doing another con early in the year. You know kind of evenly spaced from DC (it's on my perpetual calendar, as well it should be) Whoever went, let me know I'm curious how it went for you.
Jake, sorry I didn't hang around with you too much but I kind of just run around doing my own thing. I don't really recall seeing much of you after Friday, otherwise I would have said hey and had a drink. Tell me how things went.

I was there. The stench of D*Con is forever burned into my nostrils....

But yeah, it was pretty good. I think I had more fun because I was hanging out with a group of people I've been talking to online for nearly 7 years now.

I have all my pictures downloaded.....Now I just need to sort through them, throw a page together and upload it. Joy.

Yeah after we walked around in armor I changed cause I wasn't feeling well. After that I was off to panels all day long and the armor just kind of took a back seat. Really didn't know anyone and it just wasn't a lot of fun as is a smaller group of friends.

OMG! Do not tell me you were the one running around with that @#$@ puppet! I swear I must have seen him, geez I don't know how many times. Who was it supposed to be again? Actually, it was funny to see "him" popping all over the place, pretty original idea (next to the guys with the "Official Boob photographer" shirt, LOL). Arghhh! Who let that ewok in, ref:ewok.jpg? Now that's a funny shot! Thanks for posting the pics, I've really got to get a scanner.

Yup, I was in the group with the puppet. See, we have a friend named Wade that used to live in Atlanta and went to D*Con every year, but this year he couldn't. So, the puppet took his place.

The ewok was *thinks* Sunday night after the Con wide costume contest. The guy said it was what happens when ewoks take viagra. Heh.

I am so sad that I didn't get to see you Jake! :( Sarah Pie and I briefly talked. I was really tired, I hope I wasn't too incoherent. Next con, I better read every board ahead of time.
