Spring, MO Dragoncon 2007

If Susan and I are able to make it we will probablly leave early on Thursday, that or we will try to leave on Wednesday and get a room to help with the stress on our bodies. It will depend on my work scheduel but as far as I know my new boss is really cool about working with us on time off.

 

What route do you think you will take? Maybe we can caravan... although, I am not sure if we try to leave Wednesday night or very early Thursday. Our road trip track record is not the best...so the earlier we leave may be the best way.

 

I could of justified spending $118., but I am pushing it as it is. This gives me something to look forward too and motivates me to do costume work. I wish every weekend was a D*C weekend.

 

OMG!!! Data is coming!!! Wow the Star Trek track is going to be huge this year.

 

Yep! And the doctor from Voyager... I even watched Voyager for awhile.

A lady from work showed me farecompare for plane tickets. She flies a few times a month and says that's where the cheapest flights are found.

 

I really liked Data's character and though I did watch Voyager sometimes they kind of borrowed alot from Data's character for the Dr.
Though I am a Star Trek fan I would really like them to start announcing the Star Wars celebs.

 

I am with you Leash! Where are the Star Wars guests? Did that person scare them all away???

At first she was planning on it, but we decided that she would get bored fast while I'm trooping. That and her getting away from school (and the cost). Even if she does go to Atlanta with me, we have friends of the family that live there and she would visit with them.


So the short answer, nope...

 

But you're still going right? I told Brandon we could share a room with you, but he mentioned something about "not wanting to have to hang a sock on the door for privacy." Just kidding!

We got our room reservation and sent in our memberships today. YEA!!!!

 

Well, you know.... thats the other reason.


Pass purchased. BTW, for those wanting to save money it goes up another $10.00 after tomorrow. Next purchase, plane ticket!!!!

 

I'm glad you said that. Just ordered mine. I'm all set now except for the spending/food money. Just can't live off of the chips and salsa from the consuite. I probably would've just shriveled up and died last year if Christina hadn't bought me that life sustaining cheeseburger. This year I plan on eating like a queen and coming home with lots of autographs and t-shirts and toys.

 

The way I look at it, that extra $10.00 is one extra goodie you get to buy!!!

I'm getting $220 when I looked this AM. Thats both American Airlines and Airtran. I'm putting off buying mine as of yet till I find out room situation. Worst case scenario, I spend the nights at a friend-of-the-family's house that lives near there.

 

When I checked a couple weeks ago, Midwest was the cheapest (I think). Try them.

 

Ah yes, excellent point. B and I didn't buy ANY toys or goodies last year--no money for it. But I think we're going to make up for is this year!

 

Yeah, I can not live on the consuite alone that is for sure. I almost wasted away to nothing last year. LOL! I plan to put aside a nice little stash for food and autographs.
