It's about frikkin' time! Now...where's Craig Parker?

They just added Sean Astin. Yay!!!!

 

Yay! And also A.C. Crispin who wrote The Paradise Snare, The Hutt Gambit, and Rebel Dawn. Interesting that we have all these SW writers, but no celebs (yet)...

 

ROTFL! Bud Bundy's gonna be there!

 

LOL..."Bud" Bundy...that's funny on so many levels right now.

 

I know we talked about it last year, and it didn't really pan out, so I'll bring it up for this year--Anyone up for a Fan Force dinner one night? Nothing big or fancy. Maybe Thursday night (if everyone is going to be there by then)??

 

Thursday sounds great! Leash and I will be there on Thursday.

 

That would be cool!

I have actually cut out the outer part of my pirate skirt. I am sewing right now, just had to take a break. I have also cut out the outer part of the corset that will go with it. Woo hoo! Of course now I won't quit til I am done and then I will be burnt out for a little while. LOL! Ugh costumes!

 

I'm working on B's grand admiral uniform right now. I haven't cut fabric in so long...my back is killing me!

 

hehe, right now, I have fabric pieces all over my basement floor. Susan, you and Leash inspired me to get started. So I have got Leia's ANH gown, the Officer's, and the pirate costumes all cut out.

Of course to some degree this was a way for me to avoid studying for my next module test...and who knows when I can get started sewing on them.

Man, the Stargate and Star Trek people must be doing something "special" to be getting all these guests. Where are the SW people?? Ugh!!!

 

Corin Nemec (Jonas Quinn) from Stargate and John de Lancie (Q) have been added to the guest list!! Now things are starting to look good, even with the absence of any SW guests...

 

Oh, well. I've still got the rave and Ghosthunters to keep me happy.

 

Finally! They've officially added Grant. But Jason and Steve aren't listed on there yet. Weird.

 

They did say they were coming in a chat I was in the other night, so that is weird.

And at this point I think there are more authors/artists than celebs...

 

Do you do the chat thing that they have on their website? And, really, at this point, if their website says they're coming, I'd have to believe that over the dragoncon website slackers. I wonder how many more have agreed to come and they're just taking their time getting the info up.

 

They added a bunch new people to the list. Your TAPS guys are comming again this year, and so far Ron Glass from Firefly. Still no Star Wars people.

 

I have to say the Star Trek track guest list is very impressive. They are shaming the Star Wars track at this point...

 

Terry Brooks and Paul McGillion lately of SG-A have been added.

 

They also added Juliet Landau, who played Drusilla on Buffy and Angel. So, Drusilla and Spike together again. I will have to get a pic with them.

I am still waiting inpatiently for the SW actors though. Ugh!

 

LOl you and everyone else, Leash. I hope they start naming some soon. All the other tracks are really shapping up nicely. Should be fun to see spike and dru together.

 

I just watched an episode of Angel, the Immortal one and had to laugh at the flashback scene with Dru.

Oh and I love Terry Brooks. What a great author! The author list is really great. Does anyone know how the authors handle book signings? Do they charge, how much and can you bring your own stuff, etc.?

 

I don't know if any one else watched "Who wants to be a superhero" with Stan Lee, last summer. As a family we really enjoyed it and it looks like three of the "superhero's" are gonna be at dragoncon. weeeeeeeeeeeeeee
New season with Stan Lee starts at the end of July. Check it out, its fun family entertainment.

 

They also added Erik Estrada, which kind of made me giggle. And Virginia Hey who played Z'Anne on Farscape. Maybe they will get more Farscape people as their current SW list still has no actors. Ugh!!!!!!!

Yeah, Rowan is excited about that show. Rowan really admires Stan Lee. We missed it last season and we are looking forward to it.

 

hey they finally added a star wars media guest. David Prowes is comming. Now if he can resist charging $50 for his autograph......
Hopefully this is the start of more to come.
