DragonCon 2010!

It's that time of year again! D*C is just around the corner (a very busy time with Comic Con and CV) and will be here before we know it. So, who's going to make it this time around? And, what costumes do you plan to bring?

 

I'll be there and I'll have a billion things! Hehe~

- two Tenel Ka costumes (a Queen Mother dress to go with the boyfriend's Caedus costume and Jedi Strike Team from Star by Star -- and possibly a third Queen Mother type outfit as well XD)
- Kale Longo (SW - Death Troopers)
- Chuck (Pushing Daisies)
- Elaine Marley (Monkey Island)
- Ophelia (Drowning Doom version - Brutal Legend)
- Buster Bluth (Arrested Development)
- Peter McVries (The Long Walk)

I'm so excited -- and I still have so much to finish!

 

I'll be there! Can't wait! Mostly bringing superhero stuff (Ms Marvel, Starfire, Magik, Black Widow, Donna Troy, Black Canary and maybe Wonder Woman), 2 surprises, Lady Gaga, Jane from Tarzan and Mara Jade as Arica.

 

No DC for me, thanks to Comic-Con and CV. I fully expect pictures though!

 

Sadly the bar exam has limited my sewing time to only one month before Dcon
I hope to bring:

- Kaylee's Shindig Dress (still looking for perfect fabric and hope it turns out 1/2 as wonderful as Benaequee's version)
- Inara's Shindig gown (have fabric/trim/pattern and ready to sew)
- Padme's Ep II Tatooine poncho (finished everything but the beads/ribbon in time for last years Dcon, but backed out of wearing it because it was not flattering on me. Does this look good on anyone besides Natalie?)
- Maybe another SW Curtain/Sheet Dress or re-wear one I have.

I'm already planning for next year when I have more time. Does anyone want to do a group of costumes from the movie Grease? or maybe Zombie Grease? Just an idea since I want to recreate Frenchy's "Beautiful Blonde Pineapple" prom dress.

I will be there, but have not decided which costumes to bring yet. I think Cassandra want to do Lady Marmalade again, oh, and obviously with the I Dream of Jeannie cast there I have to bring Jeannie too! I am not making anything new for this con though. I would have loved to have joined the Moulin Rouge group but I decided to put the small amount of time I had into making a couple of modest costumes for CV (nothing extravagant or pretty. Going for functional).

Bringing the Killer Penny and the Malius saber. Not sure what costumes besides my Snowtrooper. This will be my first DC as well.
