Kell- if there are pics from a con's costume contest you're gonna be in there somewhere! I swear, I just saw three other pics of you from San Diego! A Mara Jade, Slave Leia, and Parade Padme- that's not including the one you were wearing when I saw you there!

Todd, you've got to go even if it's just Saturday. You can cut out early if you need to.

w00t!! Finally got a room, and it's only a block away from the con! So who's all going? This is my first year and I'm moving out to Alabama in 2 days None of my friends are going + I doubt I'll know anyone at Auburn that's going. We should meet up or something! ONLY 24 DAYS! BWAHHHH

 

I have friends from Phoenix City AL who are going. If you want to come over to Yodasnews I can introduce you, Gooshy.

They are also part of the Columbus. GA FanForce, so you could go see if anyone is awake on their boards, but I think they all started moving their conversation to YN.

 

Feel free to stop by our table as well. Depending on how much help we get, I may be chained to it as the rules say we have to have someone there all the time. That's ok. I don't have a room yet, so just please walk over my comotose body and try not to kick too hard.

And Nightmarez is going to take some more convincing, I think...

I can't wait!! I leave on thursday! I wish I didn't have school tomorrow - like they think I can concentrate when I have Dragoncon on the brain!

 

yeah same here! lol. Im leaving friday around 3 so I'll get there around 4-5 I think.

 

I had a great time! It was nice to see Kell and Ash there (only two people I actually knew, lol) and a couple of their friends! All of their costumes were great! Come to think of it I've never seen Kell without a costume on, lol. I met a lot of 501st people that were cool from different areas around the country as well as members from the Southern Outpost that I've only talked to on the forums. I didn't have a chance to take many pictures, actually only three, but I had a fun time! Hopefully I'll be able to have some more free time next year and stay the whole time. Can't wait to see some pictures from the con!

 

Glad you had a great time. I hope we can go one year. I look forward to seeing the pics.

Our masquerade costumes... Stitch is the secret project I've been working on for a while. Totally proud of the way he came out.

Now I get to concentrate on non-costume stuff for a while, lol.

 

LOL, the Stitch is awesome, Kell. I bet Ash had a fun time in that! I'm thinking about making a really nice FF7 or FF8 costume for the next con, maybe Midsouth Con or MTAC, Last time I went to MTAC was when Tiffany Grant (American voice actress for Asuka from Evangelion, my fav character and anime) was there. I'm going to wait until Advent Children is released before I decide. I know they are overused, but FF7 is like.. my favorite game of all time. I would like to do one of the Silver Haired Men from Advent Children or Reno. I would like to do Yazoo, but Kadaj is awesome and more important (don't want to spoil anyone). Yazoo has a gunblade which is one of my favorite weapons in the FF games. It'll be my first cosplay costume so I might need some help when I come back in town if anyone would like to

hi everybody! i had a great time this weekend. and i would like to point out that i was forced into THREE costumes this weekend. of course, it's hard not to wear one of kell's beautiful creations!

since i didn't win a prize in the droid contest (after stalking storm troopers from the southern outpost!), i'm not sure i'll be joining the 501st. that was our agreement, if i got a prize, i'd join! plus, the rebel legion costumes are prettier!

anyway, i had a great time, & i'm glad everyone enjoyed our skit. ash was SO amazing!

 

kind of church like for a stormtrooper... is that 501st regulation?
