i had an extremely odd dream last night:

me and my famil were having a house ( at my house) party which took place on the Drive. The house was normal... except we were floating in the middle of the ocean.

Anyway, The party was going great and the time came where it became dark and we had to clean up.
I was taking my Dog back into the house from outside, when I saw A very small, cute, little Ducking waddeling (sp?) across the drive going "Quack Quacky Quack" - very sweet.
My Dog sees this duckling and ravage it - ended up killing the bugger and started to eat it.

The next morning my dad tells my to clean up the remains, gross.

    -------------

Wiered eh? but what I'm most concerned about it 'WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN'?

    Orn
In my opinion, dreams are a way of coping with factors in your life.
YOU have to interpret what they mean to YOU.

    For instance ...
I used to have a dream where I was running from something. The fast I ran the less distance I covered.
I figured out that I had these dreams whnever I felt my life was not going anywhere, no matter how hard I tried.
The harder I struggled the less I achieved.
    You know what I mean?
A dream 'reader' can give you a generalised idea. This does not mean it applies to you.

This principal works the same for horoscopes (They are worded so looslely they can USUALLY be applied to most situations) Tarot cards over a phone (For the Tarot to 'work' you should have handled the cards for a proper reading) and Psychics ('Is there someone here who had a relative called John ... it may be Jason ... I am getting a 'J' name ... Yes ... Jane. The message was a little fuzzy coming through.)

    You see what I mean?

But ultimately, a dream has significance to you and you alone.
And sometimes, they are JUST dreams.
A jumble of images that are just a way of your mind relaxing.
A bit like when you watch a movie.
You just sit back and watch it.

    Don't worry about meanings.

But this is ONLY MY OPINION.

For the Tarot to 'work' you should have handled the cards for a proper reading

Not always so I've done readings for people that have been accurate and they haven't been there :)

Same way as you can do distance healing like Reiki :)

Maybe I made that a little too general.
I meant like these TV tarot readings and the £3.00 a minute over the phone readings.
The commercial 'As long as I am paid I couldn't care about your future' readings. You know?

Anyway, Orn you want weird dreams?
My girlfriend keeps telling me I am wierd cos I wake up laughing on a regular basis. And I mean hysterical laughing. Like i have heard the funniest joke in the world. And when she nudges me and asks what I am laughing at, I tell her I do not know but keep on laughing.
    It's wierd.

Oh and I have ghost dreams alot and have woken my girlfriend up by shouting things like ...
    'Get out.'
    or
    'Just leave'
In the dream I am trying to exorcise the ghosts!

    [face_laugh] [face_laugh]

    That's a great one.

And yeah, the laughing thing is wierd cos I know I have no idea what I am laughing at when I wake but still laugh!
    Very strange!
So anyone else shout or laugh or anything in their sleep ...

It always always has me in hysterics whenever i hear tales of my family and friend's dreams/ sleep walking /sleep talking.

partially one of the reasons why i created this thread :p . so yeah,I'm with jimbo... i'm eager to hear others also

    edit

I also wake up yelling random numbers at my mum.

I bet shes noteing them down one by one. when she gets 7 she'll probably use them for lottery [face_laugh]

I shout at people in my sleep and when I say shout I mean I wake up the entire occupants of the house

I used to shout at my sister alot but now I just shout at random people which can get me in alot of trouble!

I've never sleepwalked though, as far as I know that is...

I do have freaky dreams though most of the time!

My dad however, hes always sleepwalking. He also wakes up, shoots upright from a dead sleep and then runs out of his bedroom across the landing in teh style of James Bond...

he always sleep walks/runs thinking someones trying to rob the house
It's initially really scarry... but in the morning i laugh to the point of nearly crying

Never sleepwalked. But I supposedly used to be able to hold conversations with awake people when I was asleep lol, but they always walked away puzzled ... hang on, they do that when I am awake too  :_|

I had this weird dream once where (and don't ask me how I know ...) but I felt like my body was becoming plastic, was really weird as it felt so real and I had a tingly sensation. And I had that dream more than once. I have a lot of dreams where I have deja vu, like I have had it before, but most I don't remember.

My cat also has dreams, he makes funny noises when he is asleep.
