that is one of the better ones... plus half the people that would be talked about you wouldn't know yet - you have to read the others to get to know them first.

Dead Beat just came out last week! I'm in the process of reading it now, bout half way done, pretty interesting. I'm upset he went to hardcovers, take me longer to get to his stuff

 

tell me about it - I just got the new one in at work but haven't started it...

Dead Beat is really interesting though - I kept getting confused unfortunatly

I don't know I thought they were okay but I have been much more impressed with his ongoing fantasy series.

 

farraday - which one did you start first? Dresden or Codex?

 

I tried the Codex one and was bored to death. Got half way through it and nothing had really happened yet so I gave up for the time being. But then, I love a good sarcastic hero and Dresden has that in spades.

 

anyoen read the latest? Proven Guilty? Turned out really well and makes you want more... damn I hate waiting

 

Been waiting until I got a decent coupon for it. Got any blacked out spoilers?

I was looking to pay $12-16. $25 ish is just too much for me at the moment, jobless for a couple weeks.

I just heard news on the TV Movie that was due out this summer - being pushed back to comeout in January and the SciFi channel has bought 11 episodes... they changed Bob though and the car...

he's still there they just changed him to a fire because they couldn't get the skull to look good on screen... and he still reads romance novels!

I was worried as well... I mean its Bob the Skull!

 

Haven't been able to buy it yet, jobless still.

But how will Harry cart Bob around if he's a fire and not a skull. That will be strange.

 

I don't know... but I heard a rumor that Bob may be voiced by French Stewart

 

These books are unbelievable. I read all of them in three weeks and I cant believe I actually missed this series when they intially published. Too cool for school, without a doubt.

 

I've read Dead Beat and Proven Guilty, but I can't find the rest anywhere around. Even the libary that you can check books out of two counties, doesn't have.

 

are you looking to buy or borrow? if you want to buy and can't find them in a local store (which I find interesting if you can't) amazon.com has them all at a decent price

 

I just bought the first one. I was hopeing to save it for the school year, but I couldn't.
