I'm really enjoying the Clone Wars cartoons, but since it's a continuing story, why didn't they just do an hour-long special? I always thought the 3-minute thing was a weird idea, and I'm sure the story will be more satisfying in one sitting, rather than in little bits.
Indeed. Also, this is a test to see how a Star Wars show would survive on TV, not a test on how a Star Wars one-off would survive on TV.
Agreed. I like being able to download the cartoons from hyperspace in (barely) manageable chunks via dialup. And I like this forum getting 2 weeks of sustained activity. And I like the cliffhanger endings. And I like chocolate.
As far as I am concerned, the cartoons totally work. They could make EP 4, 5 and 6 in Cartoon and I would be very happy. I hope more is to come.
I was one of the few people who didn't complain when it was announced that they would be 3 minutes. I never griped a bit until after I saw the first chapter and couldn't help but think "that's it?". (I still loved it, nonetheless.) But after seeing the last two episodes, I don't mind it a bit. It was the intro that made the first seem so short, I suppose. EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot: I like chocolate, too.
I like Swiss Chocolate. I think that it's better to drip feed them, and it's better that they're doing it over the course of a couple weeks.
ManoWan: "They could make EP 4, 5 and 6 in Cartoon and I would be very happy." Didn't George already make eps. 4-6 (in live action, no less), about 20 years ago?
I like it in little bits They said if this show gets high ratings it'll be made longer. No matter what it's addictive and makes you want to see the rest
I don't see the need to experiment. LFL should know that they could easily get away with 30 min episodes. I can easily imagine each episode so far stretched to 24 min with 6 min of Star Wars merchandising commercials. Awesome!
I agree with all the above reasons mentioned but it's also about ratings. I like the way they are coming out.
Given these are just 3 minutes long, I really like the fact they are on every night. It's a unique and fun format. I also think it will be very satisfying to see all of them strung together in one 30-plus minute "show."
It's fun and different. And since tv pretty much stinks, it gives me something to look forward to every night for a couple of weeks. I have yet to find anything wrong with this series. It's not supposed to be too serious...just very cool.
