Traci and Tim: Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, condiments, fixins (lettuce, tomato, etc.), buns. Potato Salad, Cole Slaw. Canned Drinks (Coke, Diet Coke, Lemonade, Root Beer)

Sal: Chips...Chips....and...Chips.

Chris: Veggie Tray

Dale: Cookies and Cheese

Lin (New Member): Chips and drinks. (We're going to have a lot of chips.)

Bill (New Member): Said he'd bring chips, but I asked if he'd bring drinks instead. We're gonna have a buttload of chips.

Jay: Casserole-that-sounded scrumptious,-but-the-recipe-escapes-my memory.

Because we love you, and because we don't want to go to jail; here are the Rules about BYOB at Tim & Traci's house:

1. You must be 21 yrs old....state law, not ours.

2. If your mode of transportation does not include a Designated Driver, you'll be asked to walk a straight line (drawn by our 1 yr-old daughter) and recite the opening crawl to a randomly-chosen SW movie.

Otherwise, we'll stash your car keys in the diaper pail and give you a pillow and blankie for the couch.

Traci, of course. Those are the rules that she just made up, and she's going to back them with this gun that she got from the National Rifle Association.

And she has a flag, too!

And trust me, you absolutely do not want to go rummaging around that diaper genie looking for your keys. They really should make the motto for those things something like, "Diaper Genie... Because nothing defines parenting better than having a plastic chain of **** in your house."

And try emptying one of those things- you need a trash bag for the contents and one to throw up in. The smell is beyond awful.




Chips, anyone?

 

I just picked up ten pounds each of potato salad and cole slaw. I also have about 64 hamburger patties and about two-dozen hot dogs. (Holler if you think I should pick up more. God, I love Sam's.)

I've got a bottle of red I'm going to bring.

My new rule - Thou shalt bow down before Rhonda the projector queen (make that Dark Lady... can't be too good...), Dark Lady with PMS, you don't want to mess...

Oh and I have a BIG flag!

 

Okay, so if Rhonda's bringing the red wine, does that mean I can bring the white? (Personally, I prefer Arbor Mist ,especially the strawberry or exotic fruits, call me a wuss, but hey...it's cheap)

We'll also bring some desserts...suggestions?

*Edit - Sherri has agreed to be my DD for Satuday night, thus our keys will be safe from the Diaper Genie Pit. She also said that she used to always be the DD...Designated Drunk. Oh, the stories she could tell!!

 

Water will be my designated driver....

I'll be by myself, but as all we do is drink on business travel, I'm pretty immune. I try the 1 drink an hour and one water an hour rule.... works pretty well!!! Good for heading off the big H also...

 

Oh, Sherri's gonna have to tell some stories now!!!

I got a couple of cases of drinks today at Sam's. I got three cases of Coke, a case of Diet Coke, a case of lemonade, and a case of Root Beer. If you don't like any of those, feel free to bring a six-pack of whatever your poison is.

I completely forgot, but Jay is bringing a casserole. I forgot what recipe, but I do remember it sounding delicious.

 

Hmmmm....mystery casserole. Fun!!!
