Thank you for the advice grey_starr

    Let us begin.
Who is interested in making a droid for the group?
Who is willing to contribute time to make a droid?
Who is willing to contribute to the cost of making a droid?
What droid should we make? I would suggest that we let Darthsolve deside since he was the first to suggest building a droid.

well Solvo and I can make the droid since we'll have the most access to materials and equipment to make one. I'll talk to him tomorrow

I've been down loading all kinds of blue prints.

I think that we could make a very simple static R2 even in time for the parade. It should be less then $100. I'll bring as much as of the blue prints as I can to the garrison on Sunday.

Later, we could work on one as elaborate as we like. That's when all the techno junkies can have fun.

Wow, I reminded myself of a Care Bear.

Plastic dome is cool, it's not too difficult to get that to look like metal if you have the right paint. Plus if you want to add attachments, it's easier to cut holes in plastic.
