Sounds like a cool thread!

I'm a big fan of all those little (and big droids!) found throughout the Star Wars Universe.

Its a shame they get such a bad rap from all those "organic" lifeforms in the galaxys.

Droids should be able to hang out at a Cantina!

 

I am a HUGE fan of droids. Don't even get me started.

R2 is the choosen one. It is obvious, as he is the one throughout all of the SW movies that is always saving the day.

 

what about droids of honour?

threepio is one of my favourite characters, but R2 is soooo cute!

That's a good one. I knew he was a "Ladys Droid". hehe

3PO could learn a thing or 2 from R2 IMO.

I remember back in the early days of the net when I was new to the www, there was a lot of chat going on about one Droid in ANH.

There was even a site made for him. and that droid was.....

gonk{sp?} he was that small walker droid.

I wonder if that group is still on AOL?

I love that droid from ROTJ in Jabba's palace that give R2 and C3PO their jobs. He's just so cruel for a droid.

There are still quite a few Gonk fans out there. Its such a goofy looking droid! Thats what makes it so popular methinks.

Seriously, the droids provide much of the humour in the films. Especially Ep. II. Very amusing. Just gotta love the droids

 

There was a fanfic about Gonks in the JC. But that was a long time ago. The days of the Gonk Knights have been long forgotten.
