Droids,who is your favorite?

Favorite droid of all time is definately R2. He's part of the reason why I fell in love with the SW universe in the first place.

 

R5-D4 all the way! The whole OT hinges on his breaking down, paving the way for R2-D2. And R4-M9 is also a great-looking droid.

 

4LOM is up there, but, I love the saucer-headed Pit Droids

 

I like R5-D4.

 

4LOM is ok, I dunno, I've never been to crazy about him.

 

I like R4-P17 for some reason...

EU: HK-47, I love that guy. He's just so loyal to me, even if I am evil.


OT: C-3PO. He's just so gay. It's funny.

PT: R2D2. Except for his stupid gimmicky rockets.

I'm not sure...maybe it's just cuz it's Obi's, and he's cool.

And have we ever figured out what happened to it after Obi got captured on Geonosis?

I like the greenish blue medic droid in Empire that fixes luke's hand. He seems like a nice guy.

But who i feel bad for, is that little kid droid in Jabba's palace that gets his arms cut off... or something like that. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

 

i agree with baronfel88 ig-88 is one of the most interesting and mysterious non-human characters in the entire saga

Wow, I was just reading up on EV-9D9, and saw this:

EV-9D9 was a sadomasochist. She relished in the electronic jumble of signals that was the droid equivalent of pain. She machined specialized sensors called pain buttons and affixed them to droids so that they could transmit their anguish.

I would like to add that EV-9D9 has always been my favorite droid. She's just really cool-looking. And she has such an attitude, it's funny.

And you're right AcklayComeHome, that is freaky about her being a sadomasochist and all that. I think she must be the first officially confirmed sadomasochist in the Star Wars Galaxy.

Although I think Jabba may have enjoyed his demise more than most of us may have at first realized.

Ahh, this is a tough one. It has to either be C3PO or R2-D2. One one hand you have a hilariously, lovably pompous, wimpy droid. And then on the other hand you have a cool short beeping droid(who has a hilarious scream) who always has to end up rescuing the "heros" of the saga.

 

Imperial interrogation droid, a thing of pure evil.
