I probably will not be lining up with you folks in December...I've already planned a road trip with some other GTA Ringers to hike it to NYC for the premiere there! We've almost got a place to stay and we've got our driver and car...but who knows, right? That's a whole five months away...

Also, to add to the list, there's now an Xmen 2 teaser floating around out there - I just saw it, and there's not too much to say - other then that it definitely doesn't give too much away...

So I saw MIIB...it was good! But no TTT trailer sadly...but that's okay...because they played the Chubb Chubbs was it??? You'll see (I hope)...

Well, I know for sure that it will play before Goldmember!! (MIIB was just something I read somewhere...although...so is this Goldmember bit...sigh...)

Saw a preview for Daredevil the other night and I think it will be pretty good.
The Hulk is iffy so long as he is better done than Scooby-Doo!
X2 should be good.

The Two Towers? What is that? Can't say I've heard of that one before. Maybe its a new Hugh Grant romantic comedy! Alright...I can't wait....

The previews that are out for the two towers are so vague that there is still the chance for it to swing either way.

After all we wouldn't awknowledge that it is good if there wasn't a chance that it could turn out as bad as the last batman sequal

 

WELL.

when peter jackson filmed the lord of the rings (all 3 movies) he filmed them all at the same time over an 18 month period. Therefore, one could quite readily assume that if the first one was good the rest should be as well.

1. because they were not filmed years apart with different actors there is little chance of TTT mimicing batman or any other typical sequel


2. While FOTR was being shot, so were the scenes from the other films, therefore the enthusiasm for FOTR displayed by the actors one could assume will be consistent in all three films.

SO i personally think that there is little chance that TTT can be a bad sequel, in part because its not really a sequel, its simply a continuation of a very long movie, broken into 3 parts so we don't all have to sleep at the theatre due to the length.

No we are not going to line up for TT? It's December...THIS IS CANADA!!! However I wonder if the group from Paramount will revive in upcoming months. Some of them were very disappointed with LOtR.
