"Drugs" on November 28th!

lol...I forgot to mention that Portman's plot involvement comes up in the scene right after the Bruce scene, if you were wondering what the hell she has to do with it.

Watched it last night before going to bed and...well... I LOVED it. A lot of improvement since Sex. I can't wait to see the entire film.

 

Got QT6. Watched it. Unbelievable.

The movie excelled in:

-Cinematograpghy
-Editing
-Storyline
-Intro sequence
-Music

The only thing that would make this a 10 would be for the acting to be just a tad better. It was good, no doubt, but when for example the two talk about the drug at the end of the first preview file, she says

"I dont like taking it from behind" and he goes "oh shut up" or something like that. I think his response could have been just a tad better. But I still think the acting was good so im not dissing the acting or anything.

are you sure chad, that can't b right. only 15 people.
this is outragious. such a film need's...no....deserves an audeince. it might be because some people might want to b spoiler free and watch it all the way through at once. which i wanted to do but i couldn't wait anylonger.
this is proberly one of the most profesional looking amateur films i have seen, with the exception of BA.

If anybody is looking at the thread and not downloading the what is done of the film so far.....THEN SHAME ON YOU.

That was damned good.

At times I almsot thought I was watching a sequel to Fight Club. And that is a good thing.

Might impressive stuff...especially compared to 'Sex'. The quantum leap forward is quite astonishing.

'Sex' comes across as a fun little amateur film, well-written but never really raising above its home movie, fanfilm nature.

'Drugs' is incomparable...the opening sequence alone is fantastic. Then we're treated to good acting, superb writing, and inspired cinematography and editing that really disguises the presumably low-budget nature of the piece, making it feel like a very professional product indeed.

And you got Bruce Campbell. Bruce Campbell!! Talk about a coup. Much of a fan of it as I am, I gotta say that 'Drugs' is certainly better produced than *his* debut film...
