I've read a couple of these Druuna graphic novels:
    "Creatura" and "The Forgotten Planet"
and I know there are other Druuna books,
but there's no indication of what order they're meant to be read in, has anyone else read them?
is there an order to them? a timeline?

When you say graphic novels do you mean the hardback books? if so they go Morbus Gravis I, Morbus Gravis II, Creatura, then Mandragore.

I first read the Druuna stories in Heavy Metal magazine, so I went ahead and bought the graphic hardbacks. I was shocked at how much more explicit the hardback books are.

yeah, I noticed that they'd been edited in the HM mag.

well I wonder where The Forgotten Planet fits in, it is a Druuna story.

I want to say there are 7 or 8 Druuna books, but I'm not really sure. I've heard of Forgotten Planet, and I may have evn read it in Heavy Metal, but I don't recall since it's been some time since I've read any Druuna stories.
I understand there is a Druuna video game, I can only imagine what that must be like.

I used to have a crush on a girl that looked alot like Druuna way back in the Stone Ages of highschool.

    She was never lonely.

I read the hardback books only once. Once because Druuna is raped twice, and some of the sex scenes end in some rather horrid bloody violence. The censored Heavy Metal versions I found to be readable, but never again with the uncensored books.

The Order of Morbis Gravis/Druuna Books is:
    1.Morbis Gravis (or Druuna I)
    2.Druuna (Morbis Gravis II)
    3.Creatura
    4.Carnivora
    5.Mandragora
    6.Aphrodisia
    7.The Forgotten Planet
    8.Clone

Nr 1 Morbis Gravis was set up as a single enclosed story,
but because of the success sequels were made
going on with the story so 1-3 are based on eachother,
while 4 is based on 3 but has an own plot
i personally think the best ones are 3 and 4,
in nr 5 the story gets completely lost and its just
a collection of sexual interaction graphics
in 6 it was tried to finish the plot build in 1-5
to set up a new plot in 7
well in nr 7-8 it gets really lame
and thats what I say as a fan,
but if there will be a nr 9 I will go and get it again!
