YBEG and I caught the Saturday evening performance and we enjoyed the music very much.I thought the DSO did a great job of playing a wide variety of SW songs,and having a real chorus added so much to it.Although it's not always at the forefront of any given scene,I've always thought that the music in SW had an ability to convey much of the story on its own,so it's good to see that aspect of the films spotlighted. Now if the DSO would just do a performance of music from the Indy films...
I loved the concert. I was so happy to hear Yoda's theme played. I missed the concert they had a CII. I was highly disappointed by that. I had hoped they would have one at CIII. Hopes dashed again. This made up for it though. Hearing the songs with choruses gave me chills. What a beautiful performance.
