Census Dunking toast in coffee or tea.

I prefer to dunk my toast in a Jack & Coke or White Russian, but to the question this poll asks? Yes.

 

Nooooo. I don't want soggy toast crumbs ruining my perfect cups of chai.

 

Until today I was unaware people dunked toast or salted watermelon.

When I say people, I clearly mean freaks.

 

What is wrong with your nation? You salt watermelon?

I've never dunked toast in coffee, and the very idea of it grosses me out.

 

I dunked a donut in some coffee last week. That was one wild week let me tell you.

You don't add anything to your fruit unless you intend to mask its rotting flavor. And if you do that, you are still eating rotting fruit. Period.

I will dunk nothing in coffee except maybe a plain cake donut! Milk is acceptable to dunk cookies or donuts. But toast? Who wants mushy, liquefied toast in their mouth and their coffee? Repulsive.

When I was a kid I remember people salting their watermelon, which I always thought was weird. It's fruit. Who salts fruit? Everyone in Houston, TX in the 70s except me, apparently.

 

People salt tomatoes and cucumbers, in salad at least.

 

Yeah, I know: they're fruit because they have seeds. But I think you know what I meant!: sweet fruit. Not salad fruit. We need a new word for this in English.
