    A Saturday would be good.

And speaking of Subway, I missed my sub on Saturday night in Durham 'cos we were running late for our taxi :(

Yes. Bday curry mid month, Durham the weekend (or two) after.

Or we could do Durham early July. Durham is one of those meets we can shuffle around to suit ourselves :p

Aye. Well, I can't move me birthday :p But Durham can be moved about. Our big concern is, as always, money. I can't expect everyone to fork out for meets/events all the time. Plus there's Al's charity event that we'll be attending (30th June). You know, I think I'll change the title to Summer 2007 and let everyone else decide when we have a window :p

Don't forget this might be Jase's last big meet (aside from CE) so we'll need to do this before Aurgust

Did say to you about that a few weeks ago Sie :p

I think it's gonna be all change after August, and some people may be less active (I am on a "wait and see" for myself), which is a real shame but tis life.

So I am up for this meet asap, especially since my best pal Jase will be too busy training new jedi in the ways of the potty and such. Plus I have to really check my expenditure when it comes to going to places further afield than NW, so bigger meets like Durham or Glasgow are definitely worthwhile.

Could we not have the Durham meet on Sie's birthday?? [face_thinking]
Have a meet and birthday meal on the same weekend, therefore it may be more worthwhile for people to come up (not that your b/day isn't worthwhile on its own, Sie, but I'm sure u know what I mean) Just a thought......

True. There are bus services (if we don't have enough cars for driving) that pop up every hour or so from Durham to Bish.

I know this might be a problem just for me but when sorting out my tickets, where would I be heading to and where would I be returning from?

Let's send Coz somewhere funny ... it'll be like a Stag Do without a stag! :p

If we did an Indian restaurant in Durham, here's a list - http://www.durhamtourism.co.uk/eat_indian.html

However, just mentioned something to Sie, he's happy with the idea, so I'll post it here.
If we had the Durham meet on Sat morning/daytime (that would mean me coming up on Fri and staying in Durham) then, well all get on a bus (or some in a car, whatever is planned) and head for Bishop Auckland for a curry in Sie's hometown. Then after the curry people head to Sie's house for films/fun/etc and people stay over till Sunday when everyone gets kicked out. I'd stay somewhere till Monday morning, then travel back home.

    Workable idea?

I think it's workable, what would be the best thing for me. Should I just get a open return to Durham, then just pay my way from Bishop to Darlo on the way back?
