Just received my review copies of the OT DVDs. If any one has any questions regarding the changes I can tell you officially what changes have been made as these are the final discs...

just tell me the scene you need to know about...

1: Is the 'grander escape from the Cloud City' true?
2: Are there the added Yoda training scenes?
3: Is Watto in the Tatooine celebrtion scene?
4: Does Greedo shoot first?
5: And why did you recieve the DVDs beforehand?

 

We just want the chapter titles. Thanks.

Do you have any information on any changes to the lightsaber effects to make them more consistent?

Have the Taun Tauns ESB been altered to reduce the obvious stop motion effect?

Do you know if there are any changes to the cockpit displays? I recall seeing a posted image from the leaked DVDs showing a display with added buttons or icons.

 

Do the menu screens change each time you start the disk up?

Is there a 1138 Easter Egg thing for bloopers on all the DVDs?

 

Just at work at the moment (boss has some crazy notion of me doing work!), But will check DVD changes and post replies in three hours, guys. I'm so excited to get to see them I want to leave work early!!!

 

Well I think I speak for most everyone here... HOW DO THE LIGHTSABERS REALLY LOOK!!??!! Is it quite apparent that the lightsabers have been touched up? Does Vader's saber indeed look pink in some scenes?

In the scene where Vader's and Luke's lightsabers are crossed in front of Palpatine, do they look like they do in the pic below?

Sadly, it was not a joke. I had heard lots of people talking about these all over.

 

I can confirm all of those to be fake myself, except for the fourth one.

 

I'll bet my account he has the same finished copies (different region) that DarthFirst has.

So don't get your hopes up thinking there will be a new development.

 

Just confirm this one thing for me. Does Vader's saber look fruity pink? Please say no.

 

Not being a massive SW head. Can you tell me what movie and whereabouts you need to know, (ie; where is this pink Vader lightsaber scene from then I can look it up) . First up I will check the end celebration scene for Watto (just saw the young Annakin scene at the end of the movie!)

OK first up.

Just saw Naboo scene (with cheering Gungans on top of buildings) and reworked celebration scenes of Coruscant heaps more people and a Jedi tower in the background!

and yes, that light saber does look exactly that pink. Well it does on my mac!

More questions? and remember to tell me exactly where they are. Re: chapter titles I can't be bothered to write them all down for all 3 movies as there are over 40 for each!!! Sorry!

How about telling us something about Ep.IV, seeing as it's the one which hasn't been leaked yet.
Chapter titles would be nice.

Or you could test out the 1138 on the 4 discs you have.

Darth vs Obi-Wan fight in SW. Saber effects much better. I think they used to turn into white sticks before. But still not 100% perfect right at the end you can still see a bit of a white stick!

 

Hey, what's the title of ESB's chapter 25 ? Just checking...

And confirm that Luke's saber is white on the MillenniumFalcon.

So you can see a bit of the white stick with no blue glow at all?
